It was after midnight with that tired charm that all parties on the downturn acquire.

In my 26 years of life living in this world, I have never seen such a huge number of women in their thirties and twenties gathering in one place. It was like sorority girls meet the party-lover girls and it was a mess.
That's all I could describe the night- a freaking mess.
But let's go back to five hours and learn what truly happened for it to be a mess.
It's decided that the party would take place in the hotel that most of the bridesmaids are staying in, besides that it would be on the top floor of the hotel, on the 22nd floor which was high enough to make my knees tremble.
It was some of Everlyn's female family that planned this and I was just so busy at that time that I didn't have the chance to be there when they were planning. They did a video call me at times and I just accepted some of the ideas that they throw, except for some male strippers, I do not want to have a striptease in front of my face.
I am now working with my veterinary clinic, one that I paid for half, and my parents which I am still paying for in the last couple of months. It was still new and I am struggling to make ends meet at times since I sometimes would take care of stray animals and those in the wild without getting any money. Of course, money is needed to be able to buy my necessities.
"We need to get you something sexy!" I and Everyone are currently shopping for dresses, one that we would wear to the party this night.
"God no, I would never wear that, I have money so I can pay for a dress with a lot of cloth on it" She showed me a bodycon dress with strips on the side revealing the breast down to the hips on the side.
She just giggled and I knew she was making fun of me. I walked over to the other side and showed her a champagne-colored dress that flows down my knees and with an off-shoulder neckline.
"Nope, we're going for a party, not to the church"
It's official, I hate shopping.
My feet will be swollen by the end of this hell shopping I'm sure of it. My patience is already thinning and I could feel myself getting dizzy by the number of dresses that she had shown me in the past hour.
"Everlyn I beg you, please, just pick a decent one. I'm already dying here!" Besides the fact that I feel my body slowing down from the amount of walking that we've done, I haven't had my lunch yet since she told me that my stomach would show in my dress if I eat.
"Okay, okay, I'll choose one now!"
Thank God! I would have made sin by murdering my best friend if she didn't stop this madness. I'm never gonna accept her invitation for shopping again or else I'll just directly knock my head in the wall for being a fool once more.
What she has selected was a burgundy slip dress with two thin straps for the shoulders which resembles a nightdress in my opinion. It does cover everything except my bare arms and since the neckline was a bit low giving some opening on my chest. Thankfully I was already fit and the fat in my upper body has already decreased based on the training that I have gotten with the lead of Maico.

I knew that parties weren't my thing before it was even introduced to me and now I'm regretting attending one.
The moment we enter the top floor the party started getting crazy and it seems like everyone got loose as if rules and moral conduct have been thrown into the window. Varieties of alcohol have been shoved to my face which I refuse vehemently, I don't want to throw up on the sky and probably throw up in a poor lad and get so drunk I would just pass out on the counter.
"Come on, let loose!" I was a slap in the back by a very energetic cousin of Everlyn.
"Yeah, I will" I said underneath my breath though I feel a bit wary at that thought.
Everlyn was now surrounded by some of her female friends and family, those who have already married as they gave some advice but it was just truly teasing and poking fun that was happening since all of them got so drunk after arriving.
"He's here! Finally!" Someone shouted and I had a bad feeling, turns out I was right.
In my eyes was a well-built man with tan-colored skin with just a bow on his neck and a black brief hiding what is supposed to be hidden from plain sight.
Yes, they just brought in a male stripper, great.
"Woo! Come on, come to mama!" I grew horrified at seeing her aunt who had a thirsty look on her face.
"He's hot, damn!"
"I'll get a piece of that ass myself, girl"
I just shake my head at their enthusiastic response over the male guests that were invited to our party. I moved to my right and sat on the corner, into the most inconspicuous one but I was still couldn't get away from trouble.
And yes, one particular lady put me to a seat where the male stripper they brought is now performing a striptease in front of my very eyes.
And I almost lost my shit.
Eyes glaring daggers towards the red face Everlyn who was guffawing in laughter after seeing my face redden in embarrassment. Thank goodness it was just a few minutes before they regain their conscience and someone else took my place, a very much willing woman and I have no qualms about giving that hot seat to her.
"What the fuck was that?" I hissed at Everlyn who was still hunched on her back laughing with tears on her face.
"Oh God, that was priceless!"
"Hey! Delete that!" I saw what she has on her phone, a fricking video of me and the male stripper and I almost knock the two of us on the ground trying to delete it.
"No! This is your gift for me! Your future grandchildren must see this!" She proceeds to chortle in an unflattering way and I just sneered.
She's drunk and I'll take that chance after she's dead ass drunk in the bathroom.
Of course, the party wouldn't end without the pre-wedding gifts, and mind you, those were gifts that shouldn't be seen in daylight and are detrimental to an innocent child's eyes.
Including me.
"Here Everlyn, may you two have the best night at your wedding!" One shouted and gave her a black lacy dress that doesn't even cover her parts and right there and then I knew that those gifts were extremely scandalous.
"I'll give this to you to enhance your night together" the other has her brows moving like waves and I have the misfortune of seeing her gift, it was a variety of sex toys and I lost it.
I think I brought the wrong gift considering I am about to give her an eternity necklace inlaid with jewels. Of course, the crowd boo and some awed and my gift but the night should have already ended now, right?
No!
"The party is starting!"
They moved their butts, waists, and bodies like snakes and some even did splits which would be mind-boggling by the way if they weren't looking like they came out of a horror movie. Their makeup already became a part of their sweat, hair that was curled and strengthened into perfection lay like a rat ness, and their hollers and shrieks which I bet would wake up the entire neighborhood.
Yeah, I'm not doing this shit again.
