Dear Diary,
I met that man again. He offered me a place to stay. People to stay with. He even told me his name.
Dabi.
But I'm not stupid. He's taking me to the League of Rebellion. They're a group of people who've come together to 'bring down the monarchy' although I myself see nothing wrong with it. Sure, the king may be a bastard, but really we're all a bunch of cowards. The kingdom just needs someone to look up to.
I think the whole thing is stupid. Just be glad you're alive, I'd say.
But I'm a coward too, so I could never say those things.
A desperate coward with nowhere else to go.
He took me to some abandoned warehouse, which was fishy enough. Not to mention the creeps it was harboring. Some crinkly guy with a billion hands and a bunch of other freaks.
But they've got food and shelter. That's more than I had on my own.
I'll give it a few days then return home. Give Shinso some time to cool down. At least the potion worked; I'm not seeing the man in my dreams anymore. But apparently it's only a one-time thing, but Dabi said he'll give me more.
I know I can't trust him. He's got this look in his eyes. I don't know what it is or what caused it, but I can tell these are not good people. But I don't have the courage to leave.
I almost forgot: since the dream canceller worked, I've been having normal dreams! Well, what dreams are really normal anyways? But hey, it makes me feel a little better about my situation, so I've decided to start writing them down. Here's what happened in last night's:
There was a man, standing beside a pond in some remote area. I had this feeling like he was running away from something. He seemed sad. I wanted to hug him.
But when I did, his arm fell off. I screamed and backed away, and fell into this deep, deep, hole. The man, with eyes like the moon I so admire, reached for me. He couldn't reach far enough.
And then they buried me. I don't know who 'they' is now, but I felt okay with dying. It felt okay, but part of me didn't want to leave. I don't know why I call it dying now, but that's what it felt like.
Then I saw that one-armed man one last time, and someone called his name: a little girl that made him smile. I won't ever forget his name.
