"Takahashi!" 

You run up and hug him, not even thinking twice about what the guards might think. 

"I missed you," you smile, looking at him. Shoto comes over as well, patting him on the back.

His hair is crazy and his clothes are dirty, but he has the same face and the same smile. Shizukana is with him, back from his three days with the pirates. A girl with with them, also. 

"Ahoy!" She smiles. Her skin is pink and her hair is too, but she looks friendly and welcoming. "I'm Mina, captain of Plus Ultra. Good evening, Your Majesties."

She gestures to a black-haired person beside her. "This is my second in command, Sero."

He bows, smile on his face. 

"I've brought them as pirate advocates," Takahashi explains, "I hope we can arrange something. We're not bad people."

"Absolutely," Shoto says, nodding.

You notice how Takahashi says "we're", like he's including himself. You tilt your head.

"How's everything been?" You ask. "Are you okay?"

"I'm . . . " He smiles. "I'm a pirate now."

You pull him away from the others for a second, grinning. "Guess what."

"What?"

"You have to guess."

"Let's see," Takahashi hums, "You got a haircut?"

"Nope."

"You've got some deadly illness and you're going to die soon?"

"Wow," you scoff, "from one extreme to another."

Takahashi laughs. "I'm joking. What is it?"

"I'm . . . " you smirk, ". . . having a baby!"

He only chuckles. "Honestly, the deadly illness is more believable with your luck. What is it, really?"

"I'm pregnant," you say, rolling your eyes, "not dying."

"Not a big difference."

You're both silent for a moment, but your former guard clears his throat.

"So, like," Takahashi grins, "seriously? You're pregnant? For real?"

You nod enthusiastically, feeling a hand on your shoulder. It's Shoto and he's smiling.

"Thanks to me."

You slap your husband on the arm, and he tilts his head. "What? I'm right, aren't I?"

"Oh my god," Takahashi mutters, a laugh escaping his lips, "you're pregnant!"

Shoto hugs you from behind, as if being defensive. You giggle. 

"Yep."

You're in the Women's Room with your ladies in waiting, getting ready for the meeting with Shoto and the pirates. Plus, it's been a long day.

"Don't overwork yourself, Your Majesty," Himari coos, handing you some water, "remember you've got another person to look after."

"Thank you." You smile, taking a drink.

Mayu sighs. "Who was that hunk earlier? Did you see him, Elysia?"

You laugh. There they go again, talking about boys and gossip. 

"I only have my eyes on one," Elysia huffs, shifting through the dresses. 

"What about you, Em?" Mayu wiggles her brows.

Emica sighs. "Mayu, are boys all you think about?"

"When they look like that pirate did," she confesses, "maybe."

"Wait," you interlude, "which pirate?"

"He had only one arm and such a big smile," she swoons, "man, I love this job."

Everyone laughs, and you stand up. "We'd better go to the throne room. Everyone ready?"

The girls rise, in dresses of their own, ready for court.

"Pirates," Shoto says, "what do you propose in order to stop interrupting our trade?"

You're standing by Shoto, accompanied by your ladies in waiting and the advisory. The pirates stand in front of the throne: Mina, Sero, and even Takahashi.

Mina bows. "Your Majesty, I propose that we help with the trading system."

Shoto glances at you, and you shrug.

The captain continues. "me and my crew know more about the sea and navigating than any sailor of yours, not to be rude. I cannot stop the other pirate crews from plundering your ships, but we can help."

Shoto nods. "Go on."

"What if we guarded your ships as they passed through the pirates territory?" Mina smiles. "We could help!"

You look at Shoto and he looks at you. You don't even have to speak to know you're thinking the same thing.

"That sounds . . . " you start.

" . . . perfect," Shoto finishes.
