Even geniuses make errors of judgement. Jungkook realises this after he has a girlfriend.
As you know, when a couple engages in a particular… sport, the woman often involuntarily murmurs some… strange sounds.
One night, after some vigorous ‘exercise’, they cuddle in bed. Lisa is using her finger to draw circles on Jungkook’s chest. He looks down and grabs her hand.
“Actually…” He says in a plain voice : “I don’t mind if you use that type of voice to speak to me.”
Lisa is not sure what he is talking about : “What type of voice?”
Jungkook gives her a sly smile.
Lisa realises what he means now. She blushes and retorts : “You mentioned before that you don’t like to hear my distorted voice. Why… ”
Jungkook answers seriously : “I have to take that statement back. I just discovered, this level of distortion excites me.”
Lisa : “….”

The strong man
Although Jungkook is not a very sporty person, he spends a good amount of time to exercise in order to keep himself fit and looking in top form. He works out three times a week, spending approximately an hour each time.
However, when he reached thirty, Lisa noticed that he increased the frequency of exercise from three to five times a week, and he worked out for an extra half an hour each time. He even ordered exercise equipment from the internet that especially targets his core muscles and waist strength.
Lisa asks him : "Why have you suddenly increased the amount of exercise you do?"
Jungkook looks tired from the work out. But he answers faintly: "I've not been exercising enough. I'm just doing more of it to achieve the optimal fitness level for a man my age."
Lisa : "Oh..."
6 Months later
One day, Lisa walks into the bathroom to wash her teeth. She sees the silhouette of a man behind the frost shower glass door. The man is taking a shower.
Is that... Jungkook? He looks like he has broader shoulders, more defined lines, increased muscle tone, an obvious six packs...
Lisa blushes as she looks at him.
She asks while she is brushing her teeth: "Are you trying to bulk up like a body builder. I prefer the old you."
Jungkook looks at her : "So you don't like it?"
Lisa nods : "I don't like it."
That man Mr. Muscle man lies on top of his wife, and as he is moving in and out of her, he asks her every few minutes: "Well, do you like it?" His tone was not boastful, it's purely trying to find out the truth.
Lisa is so overwhelmed. She puts her hand around his neck, "Yes, I like it."
When they are finally resting in bed, Lisa thinks back to what he said. Suddenly she has a query : "You didn't do more exercise, so that you can perform better in bed.. did you?"
Jungkook sounds offended: "What? Who do you think I am? I'm not that type of man!"
Lisa : "...No?"

After Jungkook calmly denied her theory of why he is working out more, she forgets about the whole issue.
However, after few days, Lisa discovered the truth.
That day, while he is busy working out, she borrows his mobile to read online romance novels. After a while, she becomes bored. She opens the web browser to search for another book.
She comes across the web page Jungkook was reading earlier. It's a forum for lifestyle and living. It's a famous forum that Lisa visited from time to time too. The caption of the page that Jungkook is on attracts Lisa's attention.
'A wolf in her thirties, and a tiger in her forties. My sex life for the past ten years.'
She is shocked. Her husband actually read this post?
She scrolls downs and reads the page. In summery, the person who wrote the post is one of those man who was rather confident of his level of fitness. Before he was thirty five years old, having sex five or six times a night is a piece of cake. However after thirty five, his strength no longer match his ambitions. However, his wife, who is two years younger than him, is more sexually demanding than she was younger, which proves the saying that 'Women is a wolf in her thirties, and a tiger in her forties' is indeed true! He has no choice but to improve his physical fitness. Finally, he is able to restore to his former glory in bed and once again, remains to be the ideal husband for his wife.
Then he continues by giving the list of fitness exercises he did, equipments he used etc... It's the same equipments that Jungkook bought!
Lisa laughs. She wonders if her husband commented on the post. Then she finds his ID-
JustinKing - on one of the comments. The comment attracts no response from others. There's neither a like or dislike for it.
This is what he wrote --
"... I can only say.. Only someone who is not physically fit enough, with a will that is not strong enough will experience incongruity between sex and love. I feel for you. From a happily married man with a perfect sex life."

That night, after a long session in bed where he scored a new record of quantity and length of 'duration', he smiles with satisfaction. They cuddle each other in bed.
Lisa says softly: "Jungkook, actually..."
"Yeah.."
"I won't be a wolf in my thirties, and a tiger in my forties. You don't have to work so hard."
Lisa feels like laughing after she said that because Jungkook starts to blush. Ops.. the secret is out. That is the reason why he has been working out more.
But soon he calm himself down and smiles: "Oh my dear. Of course you are not a wolf, nor you are a tiger. You just havd rather powerful thighs. You squeezed so hard that my head hurts."
Lisa : "....."
She blushes with embarrassment and pulls the duvet to cover her face.
What the...? He was the one who insisted he wanted to do that.

Junghoon Jeon
Junghoon has been Jungkook’s little pride since his birth.
Most babies are born without eyebrows. And because of the puffiness of their eyelids, some babies cannot open their eyes wide right away. However, little Junghoon has been a handsome boy right from the start of his life. Just seconds after he has come out of his mother’s room, you can see his pair of black eyes looking around curiously.
Jungkook’s evaluation is : “This son doesn’t look too stupid. Perhaps he will have an above average IQ and sharpness - a portion of his father’s ability”
Lisa is lying in bed. She is resting. The birth process is a lot more tiring than she expected. She is surprised : “Only a portion?”
Jungkook lifts up her hand and kisses it, and says : “My dear. You know that I love you to bits, but we cannot deny the truth. The IQ of the next generation is an average of their parent’s IQ. I am very sorry, but unfortunately our son can’t possibly be a genius.”
Lisa : “….. get out!”

However, as Junghoon grows, they realise Jungkook’s prediction is not very accurate.
Even though it’s hard to identify all his talents and gifting at such a young age, it is evident that his son is more intelligent than other kids his age. According to Jungkook, Junghoon is not as smart as when he was a kid, but he still have to admit that ‘Junghoon is good enough to be considered a genius”.
It’s true that the little man is gifted in a certain area.
For example…
One day, when Lisa gets home after work, she sees her son watching Japanese manga. She smiles at him and asks him "Hoonie, are you hungry? We will go for dinner once your father comes home.”
Lisa has a warm smile on her face as she spoke to her son. Junghoon takes a quick glance at her, then turns back to watch TV. And he says to her : “I noticed there’s frustration on your face. What has he done again? Something childish that he is not aware of?”
The ‘he’ Junghoon refers to is obviously his low EQ father.
Lisa : “….. Don’t say that about your dad! It’s something to do with a case we are working on.”

Jungkook is sitting in the study looking at the pictures of three suspects. He is trying to decide who the killer is…
Junghoon comes into the study to find a detective novel. He takes a look at his father.
“Oh, the killer is the person in the second picture.” He says.
Jungkook is concentrating on his work, he subconsciously answers his son : “Oh, you think so too. You are my son indeed…” Then it dawned on him. He lifts his head and frowns : “Junghoon, who gave you permission to read my micro-expressions?”
Junghoon ignores his dad and sings the theme song from his favourite cartoon as he skips out of the study. (However, he is completely out of tune.)

During one of Jungkook and Lisa’s wedding anniversaries, Jungkook says to Junghoon :
“Today, you and Lalice will be staying with Uncle Jimin. Your mother and I are working on a very important case. We will need to work through the night. We can’t be disturbed.”
Junghoon looks at his father and says : “Oh cut it out, dad. I know you want some private time with mom. Your micro-expressions is filled with the same look that male animals have when they are aiming to attract females for mating.”
Jungkook answers without shame : “Ok. You know the reason why you need to leave the house. Just do what you are told.”
Lisa blushes : “…. Shut up! Both of you….”

That’s right, Junghoon is a natural when it comes to reading people’s micro-expressions. When he was ten, Jungkook brought him to the Department of National Security Polygraph Examination Office.
His test results are amazing. Ordinary people will maintain their micro-expression between 1/25 seconds to 1/5 seconds. Most humans can only recognise longer and clear facial expressions, but Junghoon is able to recognise expressions maintained for only 2/25 second. That’s as quick as a computer!
Lisa is very proud of her son. Jungkook is proud of him too, of course, but he is also a little uncomfortable. This is because the expert in the Polygraph Examination Office told Junghoon he can visit the office whenever he wants to : “You can give us some advice when you visit.”
Jungkook was invited to help the FBI when he was fifteen years old. But his son is only ten years old!
Even though he is uncomfortable that his son is invited to be a counsel at a much young age than him, he resigns to the fact that in the area of micro expressions, his son shows more talent than him. After all, if it’s not for his superior genes, his son would never have this ability. So, it’s partly his achievement too.
He enthusiastically designs a comprehensive ‘psychological crime investigation training program’ for his son. He is determined to train him up to be a top class detective, just as what he did with his wife.
Much to his surprise, Junghoon refused : “I am not interested. I am only interested in micro expressions.”
Jungkook is stunned. Then he laughs mockingly : “You will never become a top class detective if you only rely on micro-expressions.”
Junghoon thinks for a while, then he answers his father : “You missed one important point. An ‘ordinary’ genius like you will need to grasp the skills in all areas of investigation. But I am the genius of geniuses in micro-expressions. This will be enough for me to become a top class detective.”
Jungkook smiles coldly. What? His son says he is only an ‘ordinary’ genius?
What a joke!
“You are shallow and naive. I won’t discuss this with you any further.” He says : “But truth will reveal itself. You will find out in time who is the genius of geniuses.”

One month later.
Jungkook invites his ‘unfavored’ son along to an interrogation.
It’s the first time he is involved in a real interrogation. But Junghoon is very confident of himself. He says arrogantly to his parents : “Give me ten minutes. I will find out the truth from reading his micro-expressions.”
Lisa watches as her son walks into the interrogation room. Jungkook has a cunning smile on his face.

Ten minutes later.
Junghoon looks at the suspect. He can’t read the suspect’s micro expression on his face. He is shocked. How can this be? The speed of how fast he can recognise an expression is 2/25 second. Why can’t he read this man’s micro expressions?
Then Jungkook walks in.
In all honesty, Jungkook rarely works on such simple cases. However, he is making an exception this time. His deductions are so detailed and accurate that the suspect is completely taken by surprise. He mutters : “How did you know that? Are you a fortune teller? I admit… I admit… Yes, I killed him…”
Junghoon stands in the room, flushed with shame.
From that day onwards, he is a changed boy. He is no longer boastful of his own abilities. He accepts his father’s training and diligently takes on the comprehensive training.
Both Jungkook and Lisa are glad to see the change in attitude in Junghoon.
One evening, when the couple is in bed, Lisa says to Jungkook : “Jungkook, you are amazing. You have successfully persuaded the little man to build a solid foundation and learn a range of skills and techniques. Well done.”
Jungkook smiles : “Well of course. I am the father. He is my son.”
Lisa can’t help but laugh. She is a little puzzled too : “That suspect is able to hide his feelings so well. Even Junghoon can’t read his micro-expressions.”
Jungkook gives her a quick glance : “My dear, no one can hide their feelings that well.”
Lisa : “Huh?”
Jungkook smiles : “Ok, it took me a whole month, searching cases from all over the country, to find a suspect with paralysed facial muscles. He is my son. How can he outdo me? It’s just a simple trick. Ha ha…”
Lisa : “….”
Jungkook, you went to such great lengths just to prove to your son you are smarter? You are so childish!
