Alright Recruits. I dare all of you to take a road trip together. Doesn't matter where, just get outta the house and make some memories.
Hotshot: okay m o m-
Scorch: wait we all just got dared by the author and that was your response-
Brothers: *slam down a large map of the US (sorry world I'm from the US) and all the places that are perfect to road trip too*
Medix: *does research and makes some notes* since these are mostly public places, we'll need to remain in disguise.
Whirl: that shouldn't be a problem! We all have holoforms!
Scorch: er... not me...
Wedge: then we can just visit the National Parks in bot mode. And the big cities we can just drive through.
Hotshot: now that is a better idea!
Medix: just as long as we don't look suspicious.
*later*
Blades: -and here's a tent, some mustaches, portable groundbridge, a chainsaw- wait nevermind that's too dangerous -a whole cart of beans-
Hotshot: *as he and his bros are overfilling with items* I THINK WE'RE GOOD, MOM

Recruits: we will! *all head out through the front and begin their journey*

Hotshot: *retreats back with his team* not as great as I thought...
Whirl: well, let's go check out the Statue of Liberty. Maybe that will cheer us up!
Statue of Liberty: *is a statue*
Hoist: it's copper-
Scorch: IT'S GREEN!
Wedge: IT'S BOTH!
Whirl: *sighs*

Medix: *helps Hoist and Scorch get a better view in her helicopter mode* it really is! No wonder this was the top most visited park!
Hotshot: *slips off the side of the mountain and goes tumbling down*
Everyone: *gasp*

Medix: WE'VE BEEN THERE
Hotshot: what about this "Universal" place?
Wedge: Scorch can't go in. Plus it's night-
Hoist: *hacks in and gets the place running* we've got maybe a few hours. GO!

Hotshot: what the FUCK was that "Transformers" ride-
Scorch: *got wayyyyy too much Harry Potter merch* I DIDN'T GET ENOUGH-
Wedge: what the fuck is "Lake Poncha- Ponta-"
Medix: "Lake Pontchartrain" and it's the very body of water that flooded New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. You see since the city is below sea level-
Hotshot: *in the French Quarter* hey Medix you should go into that place and look out the window. Legend has it if you flash your bazonkers you get beads.
Medix: *leads him into an alley to smack him*
Whirl: *literally watches a homeless person go insane while trying to beg for money*
A/N: true story. I will never go back to New Orleans because of that.
Hoist: maybe we should go...
Recruits: agreed
Hoist: *looking at the literal Alamo fort* this does not look like any of the pictures I've seen on the internet (FACT)
Wedge: yeah where's all the green grass and the open blue sky. It's surrounded by a city! (Also FACT)
Scorch: BUT *sudden Spanish* EL OLOR DE ESOS TACOS ES INCREDÍBLE
Medix: *gets some for everyone*
Whirl: *just trying to fit in* OUI-
Whirl: wait there's a city called "Chihuahua"?
Hotshot: *drag racing Scorch* WOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Medix: *sighs heavily* why can't he just enjoy the view...
Hoist: *reading something* it says here that these canyons were created from rivers that flowed through here for millions of years. Erosion caused the rocks to form these canyons, which created the largest canyon in the world.
Wedge: *snorts softly* no wonder it's called the "GRAND Canyon"
Whirl: well it's beautiful! It's amazing what nature can do!
Hotshot: *falls off the side of a cliff again*
Medix: indeed-
Hotshot: *yeah you know what he's doing*
Scorch: they're arches.
Wedge: gee I wonder how the park got that name.
Hoist: *as Hotshot crashes into an arch* guys don't be sarcastic. We're here to explore.
Whirl: the scenery is beautiful! I wonder how these arches formed.
Medix: well-
Wedge: look the sun's setting!
Recruits: whoaaaaaa!!!
Hotshot: *oh now that's pretty*
A/N: I had to do a project on this very specific park (Arches). It's still on my bucket list of places to visit!
Medix: uh why is Death Valley busy-
Hotshot: *taking advantage of the dunes* BECAUSE OFFROADING!
Whirl: *overheating* whoa... no wonder it's called "Death Valley"
Hoist: THERE'S A GHOST TOWN *speebs off*
Hotshot: *literally goes full puppy and races after him*

Scorch: too much California in one sitting I guess?
Hotshot: WHOA THESE TREES ARE HUGE!!!!! I CAN PASS RIGHT UNDER THEM!
Medix: those are Giant Sequoias!
Whirl: *heading to the waterfalls in the park* I know I keep saying this, but this place is beautiful! Look how green it is! And these waterfalls are stunning!
Wedge: it is! Look at all these mountains!
Medix: *catches up to them* oh that really is a sight!
Hotshot: *actually slowing down for once and takes in the gorgeous view*
Hoist: is there ever a day that this place isn't raining?
Medix: yes. And it's the most gorgeous sight-
Whirl: *sees a man step out onto their apartment balcony with their robe wide open and with no boxers on* uh-
A/N: lmfao sorry but when I went to Seattle (I was 13) my mom happened to look over and see that while we were heading into town
Wedge: oh look it's me-
Hotshot: hey what's the big mountain over there?
Scorch: Mt. Rainier. On a clear day, you can see the top of it!
Hoist: well I'd rather go see that instead of heading into town!
Medix: well you all can go do that. I'll head into town and shop a bit!
Recruits: *separate off*
*later*
Medix: WHY IS PIKE STREET ALWAYS SO CROWDED?!
Hotshot: *wraps his arm around her as they sit with their team near the top of Mt. Rainier* well you made it out alive so that's all that matters.
Medix: *sighs*
Hotshot: *actually sticking with the team and enjoying the scenery*
Scorch: *whispers to Medix* I don't think Hotshot is okay. He's actually looking around at the scenery.
Medix: *shoves him slightly* oh hush. Just let him be.
Wedge: wasn't this place the 10th most popular park to visit?
Hoist: yep! And I can see why.
Whirl: *getting pictures* oh it's breathtaking! And the temperature is perfect!
Hotshot: *inhales* that's some CRISP air!
Medix: *giggles* it is!
Hotshot: *holding Medix's servo as they walk into the empty park with the team*
Medix: *looks up at him* you're not gonna go and race?
Hotshot: why would I? There's so many beautiful things to look at!
Medix: *sees he's looking at her and laughs a little* you flirt.
Hoist: *reading something* this is actually the first National Park in the US! And is home to Old Faithful along with about 500 other geysers!
Scorch: no wonder there's a lot of steam.
Whirl: and no wonder there are lots of signs that tell you to stay on the path! This is a supervolcano!
Wedge: volcanoes can be super?
Medix: yes Wedge. They're usually gigantic.
Hotshot: hey guys! Old Faithful is about to erupt!
Recruits: *all gather at a safe distance to watch it erupt, all in awe at the sight of it*
Wedge: isn't this monument unfinished?
Medix: it is! The monument was to display the full body of these four presidents but was canceled due to the original designer dying and the funds running out. That's why George Washington has his collar showing.
Whirl: I wonder what it would have looked like when it was finished!
Hotshot: hey isn't there a memorial nearby that's called "Crazy Horse"?
Medix: very good memory Hotshot! There is a memorial bearing that name! It's 30 minutes away so we'll go check that out too!
Recruits: *exhausted from that long trip*
Scorch: OHIO WAS JUST CORNFIELDS-
Hotshot: hey guys. You gotta come see this.
Recruits: *all come over to the best view they can get to see Niagara Falls*
Whirl: now that was worth the drive *leans lovingly into Hoist*
Wedge: *brings Scorch close* yeah. Also getting through border security was so easy for some reason.
Medix: *gets pulled into Hotshot's arms and giggles* Canadians seem to hold the nicer stereotype.
Hotshot: *as everyone is chatting* hey guys? This was the best trip I've ever had and I'm glad I got to spend it with all of you.
Recruits: *aight it's group hug time*
Hotshot: *laughs happily as he hugs his team back*
Security: *coming around the corner* I HEAR THEM!
Recruits: *and now they must make their dramatic exit*
Medix: *gets the groundbridge up and gets everyone through* THANKS FOR JOINING US! SEE YOU ALL AT THE WEDDING! *yoinks camera and goes through the bridge just in time*
