"Mm, wait!" I said as Bird stood, "can I do the toast?" I asked.

"Go head lil bit," Bird chuckled sitting back down.

Today was Rodrick's birthday, making him the big 22 finally. Well, both him and Donbo since they shared a birthday.

We were all sitting around a few tables in the back yard. It was just the whole gang outside while most of the family was inside cause it was getting late.

Aria was inside watching the the kids with Tyler, and Roddy was right, she did happen to be someone who I really clicked with. She was super chill and the fact that she didn't mind playing babysitter was a good thing.

"Alright everybody raise your glass for this guy right here," I said as I picked up my glass of champagne. This was actually my third glass of the night so I was swaying a bit.

And I was kind of feeling it but I made sure it didn't show. Rodrick chuckled looking at me because he already knew I was halfway t
fucked up.

I seen Donbo giving me a look. I playfully rolled my eyes, "And for Donbo too." I said.

Whoever opted for champagne instead of some regular shit should be congratulated.

"To Donbo, a person who I have yet to discover his real name, a good friend, brother, all of the above. I hope your birthday this year is everything you want and more." Everyone laughed.

"Preciate that T." He said nodding my way.

"And to Rodrick, probably the most humble person I know at this point. Someone who just wants good for everybody before hisself. And even though he's still learning as he goes, he manages to be one amazing father."

"So happy birthday to the both of you, and I wish you both many, many more years of life's... happiness. And all it has to offer."

It's the thought that counts.

"Thanks bae," Rodrick said kissing me as I sad down after we all clinked our glasses together.

Everyone stated talking again with each other.

"Hey, I'm gonna go check on Milo, see if he's up yet," I said and he nodded before conversing with everyone else.

Milo's sleep schedule was complete off due to the flight, so after he ate when we got here he went straight to sleep and that was about three hours ago.

I left from outside and went upstairs to the bedroom where Milo was at.

"Hey sleepy," I said seeing he was just waking up. I went ahead and changed his diaper.
