I entered the house seeing Milo standing there waiting on me causing a smile to appear on my face forgetting about how I really felt right away.

"Come on baby, let's go bathe." I reached for Milo's hand and he happily took it as we went up the stairs.

Bath time was quick, so as soon as Milo was down for the night, I decided to go ahead and send the photos to my client before it got too late.

I grabbed my computer from downstairs and took it up to the room with me. I checked on Milo once more before I went to the room.

Once I was finally situation in the chair off to the side, I pulled up the pictures and Rodrick ran across my mind.

I don't know why or how but something was telling me there was a connection but I wasn't sure how.

I selected all the once I was going to seen before putting them all in a email. I went through my messages with her to find her email address before sending them off.

It wasn't long before Miyanna replied back to my email.

I didn't respond right away because I didn't feel a need to. It was late so I'd do it in the morning.

I unlocked my phone, going to the message thread with Rodrick. I taped on info before going down to the map to see where his location had him pinned at.

He was nowhere near a studio, in fact his location was off and had been for the past hour.

"That's funny." I said mumbling. I always knew were he was at, since he always shared his location with me, no matter what.

I thought about Bird calling and how the lies weren't adding up. Just him calling to see if he was busy gave it away, but I let it play out to see what he was going to say.

At the end of the conversation, Bird had reassured me that he was just trying to see if Roddy had forgotten about meeting him again, since he'd been doing that lately.

Which was true, he was a little forgetful but lately his days had been running together because of how busy he was.

But what really bothered me was that Bird was helping him lie and it was so easy to him. I sighed, locking my phone before I spun around in the chair to face the balcony.

This little hiccup made me think just about us in general.

Nothing was wrong with our relationship, but at times it didn't feel like that. Sex was amazing, as it should be, plus he's a great father. But sometimes I feel like we're lacking that emotional connection.

It was baffling to me because sometimes he would be completely normal, picking up everything, then just become really.. out of tune some times.

But I learned that, that was just how he is. He either got it or he don't. And I've noticed that when he don't he act like he does.
