Tristen Ashley A few minutes after I heard the front door close, I made my way back towards the front of the house.
Rodrick had did and said somethings to KD that he shouldn't have but who could tell him that?
I tried, but at the same time, from looking at KD he was alright. He was just playing along, which he did a damn good job at.
He had even texted me and told me he was straight, that he would just be outside, depending on how long Rodrick would take to be the bigger person and apologize to him.
Since it had been quiet for a second, I came across him with his chain around his neck and his head in his hands while he was sitting on the kitchen counter.
I was worried at first, but when I noticed that Jnew was showing on the front of his chain, I understood.
"Aw, baby," I spoke softly walking up to him. I wrapped my arms around his torso causing him to loosen up some and he hugged me back.
I heard his sniff lightly so I looked up at him seeing tears wanting to spill over but he wouldn't look at me.
"You did this?" He asked lowly and I nodded.
"Merry Christmas baby." I said resting forehead against his and he did something I never though I'd see him do.
He started crying, as the tears flowed down his cheeks, and I wiped them for him.
"Baby, what's wrong?" I asked. He was more than likely just filled with a lot of emotions right now, but it was a first to me. Rodrick had always been that tough cookie around me, so shedding a tear was different.
"Fuck.." he mumbled.
"It's okay, Rodrick, I just wanted to do something nice for you, JNew's birthday passed by and you didn't even have time to slow down and acknowledge, so I wanted to make sure you spent Christmas with him. I never met him but I know he was a good guy, especially if you were linked in with him," I said and he nodded silently, wiping his face down once again.
"That nigga was undefeated," he said finally chuckling, "I ain't never met no nigga like him, he really taught me the game. He taught me to be who I am today. Myself. And I can't thank nobody but him for that," he sniffed looking up.
"Well you know he's sitting up high and looking down low on you now, he got you. Just like Nipsey does."
"I know.. I be having a hard time remembering that shit sometimes. Damn I miss my dawg," he said as he grabbed his chain, spinning the pendant around.
