As Yuri retrieved her kimonos from the dryer and put it into her laundry basket, she realized that Syobai was completely right. The kimonos were really easy to wash after all, he hadn't lied to her in the slightest. Not to mention that since she had decided to give away a lot of her other clothes to a nearby donation centre, there were only a few articles of clothing going through the wash-and-dry cycle and they were therefore super clean.

Yuri thought that it was kind of weird that Syobai actually gave a damn about helping her with her new gender. After all, Yuri hadn't paid him to help, and what he learned from Sora later, she had only paid him to distract Yuri long enough for everyone else to set up the impromptu coming out party. In that case, Syobai was on fair grounds to do the bare minimum to fulfill his end of the deal.

But even so, Syobai had, to date: taken Yuri to get new clothes, even if he didn't pay for them himself, shown Yuri which clothes to buy, sold her estrogen and helped her pick out which company was the most reliable and gave the best quality that could help her, gave her a ride to the place where she could get the medication, and occasionally listened to her rambles about how she was going to have to explain this to her father while splitting a bottle of wine.

Syobai had said it himself before, that he was complete and utter trash, the lowest of the low. But even so, he still gave a damn about Yuri and what she was feeling, to some extent. She wasn't a client for long, and he still occasionally went to her for advice and helped her in return. That was a lot more than her father did for her, that was for sure.

Now that she thought about it, EVERYONE had done more for her than her father did in some way, shape or form. Even the guys, who she had previously detested with a passion, had been nice to everyone they came across, even if they were sometimes a little loud. They didn't hurt or take advantage of women, even with all the knowledge Yuri had acquired.

She'd always known that men were deplorable, vicious beings, but why were they acting like this then? The maids that worked for her showed her that men didn't make women happy, even if they were wed. The men who kidnapped her showed her that they were callous and greedy, only wanting money in exchange for the heiress's life. And her father...her father showed her that men were terrible, manipulative, cruel, and only caring for their own selves.

But now, Yuri had come to a standstill. She wasn't stupid, she could look around her and see men chatting with women like it was a normal everyday occurrence, even falling in love with each other. She suddenly had a strange feeling that maybe Kokoro was right all along. Maybe she had only seen one side of the spectrum. Maybe, after all these years...it was her own beliefs that were wrong.

Remembering what she saw and heard, and taking in the information now, she slowly pieced together some sort of misshapen conclusion that maybe the men she hated could be both good and bad. And it had taken a solid ten months away from her father's hold on her and in an actual safe environment to realize this. Sure, she had a feeling that she wouldn't be able to still trust men fully after what she had been through, but she could at least make a good first step before she graduated and returned to just being the heiress of the Kagarin Corporation.

And what would people think off her when she had to go back home? Sure, her mother would accept her like she always had, but would Yuri be hurt further for her new beliefs? Would her mother be alright? And most importantly, who was in the wrong here? Her mother was out of the question, that was a given. But maybe... Maybe her father was in the wrong? Was he, despite teaching her everything she knew?
