I couldn't help but laugh when I got out of the car. "This is what you meant when you said you were taking me to a trashy place, Lyd." I exclaimed.

She tried to grin back at me but failed. I couldn't help but feel how nervous she was. "Yeah. Well it can't get any trashier than this."

I couldn't deny that since we were standing in front of a dumpster. Literally.

"But don't worry the compound is right behind it. It's a decoy mostly. And it's the only way in." She explained.

She signaled one of the men working at the gate and he rushed over escorting us inside.

We walked through the dumpster. A couple of miles in, the placed started to look different. Trash transformed into rusty beat up cars and when we finally reached the main building we could see at least 30 motorcycles and a few more new expensive cars. But that wasn't what caught my eye. It was the fifty or so men and women crowding the entrance.

Lydia stopped in her tracks. And suddenly she was engulfed in hugs and kisses. "Oh. We can't believe you're back, child." an older woman said.

"We missed you, Lydia." another said.

A scary looking man came forward and lifted her up in a bear hug. "Your father is going to be so happy you came back. He's busy right now. But we gave him a word. He'll be right with you. " he said.

"I'm not back, Uncle Nick. I'm just here to talk." She answered.

Nick frowned slightly then looked over at me and Liam. "Who are your friends Lydi?"

"Guests." She answered.

"Well. Any guest of yours is welcome. Your father is waiting for you at his office. Go on in."

We followed Lydia down a long hallway until we reached the last door on the left. She knocked and went in without waiting for an answer. A tall man with more salt than pepper in his hair stood to great us. He kissed Lydia's cheek.

" Lydia. I can't say I'm not surprised you came. Last time you were here. You swore not to set foot in this place again." he said.

"This isn't a social call. Father. My friends needed to talk to you. I came to make the introductions." she replied looking stiff and formal.

"No matter the cause. I'm glade you came." he told her. Then he turned to us and shook our hands.

" Mr Torres," I said " thank you for agreeing to see us without any notice. But we have a very important matter to talk about."

I turned to Lydia and she nodded. "Father, I'll leave you alone to discuss business but we'll talk again before I leave. I think I saw aunt Maida. I'll go talk to her " She said and left closing the door after her. We already agreed that she won't be present for the meeting since she didn't want to know anything about the situation. Seeing how tense she was it was for the best.

Liam and I sat down on the two chairs facing the desk. " I apologize for involving your daughter but there was no other choice. I needed to reach you immediately." I said, "to give you this."

I reached into my pocket and handed him a small silver flash drive. "You need to see this."

He took it from me but placed it gently on the desk. "Despite not introducing yourself Mrs Evans, I'd be an idiot not recognizing you even without your brother in law by your side. I appreciate you coming here bringing my daughter with you but we have always distanced ourselves from the Old Three. We don't plan to involve ourselves in your business anytime soon. "

I relaxed back into my seat. " Mr Torres. There seems to be a misunderstanding. I'm not here on my business or my husband's. I'm here on yours. In this flash drive, you'll find all the evidence that shows you how Axle was killed, who did it and more importantly who helped do it. I'm sure the club's president is dying to know who killed his son."

He contemplated me silently as if he's trying to solve a puzzle.

"I'm sure, since Mr Quinton and I are working under the same .. Umbrella, let's say, we know the proper protocol to follow. Simple revenge isn't enough sometimes. There is an anger and a pain so deep which that word is not enough for it. Sometimes the only thing that can be done is to eradicate the source of that pain. Burn it to the ground. Rip it from it's roots. And it's barely enough. Let Mr Quinton know, we have the same pain. We have the same enemy. "

I stood up and Liam followed. Torres nodded at us. " My men will escort you outside. Mrs Evans. And you'll hear from Mr Quinton soon. But, I have a question for you before you leave."

" Of course. " I said stopping.

" Axle has been dead for more than six years. We looked everywhere for a clue anything that can connect anyone to it but there were none. If there was such a thing, where was it? How come we never found it? How did it reach you six years later? "

I sighed. " The killer had a bad habit of filming himself making the final killing. I guess he sees what he does as a work of art. My father on the other hand had a bad habit of searching through the private files of everyone connected to the Old Three as you called them. He created the Black boxes, something I'm sure you've heard of before. I only begun to open these Black boxes recently. That's why it took this long. " I explained. Then left. There was nothing left to do now but wait for the fun to start.
