We both just looked at each other as I spoke the last line of the excerpt our teacher assigned.
Lucas- um right so...
Giorgia- that was pretty good
Lucas- that was really awkward. He stated the obvious
Giorgia- yea I sighed
Lucas- You know we will have to kiss when we actually perform in 10 days.
Giorgia- yea i know
Lucas- shouldn't we do it before then too so its not as much anxiety or awkwardness? He asked making sense, sense I wasn't happy about though.
Giorgia- I mean it'll be an awkward kiss whether its alone or in class.
Lucas- it'd be less awkward just you and me with out an audience watching us.
Giorgia- it's also more risky
Lucas- what do you mean risky?
Giorgia- i mean... it'll feel more like me and you rather then our characters
Lucas- Giorgia. We both know it'll feel like me and you anyway.
Giorgia- yea and thats gonna be hard for me
Lucas- me too, but the thing is that the first kiss in a long time with be the most difficult. Shouldn't we get it out of the way? He moved towards me a couple inches and placed his hand on my lower thigh in a comfortable way, just like he used to.
Giorgia- I mean, technically I hesitated
Lucas- the sooner we get it over with the easier it'll be on performance day. He moves his hand up my thigh another inch or two, not too close to anything though.
Giorgia- I guess I hesitated again
Lucas- i'm gonna kiss you, okay? He spoke as he moved his hand back to the side of my face and slowly leaning in, waiting for my reaction as approval. I just took a deep breath and nodded slowly.
His lips connected with mine for a short second before he pulled away just enough for our lips to part.
Lucas- so...
Giorgia- so... I hesitated as I still tasted his familiar lips on mine.
We stayed still not moving apart yet until suddenly we both leaned in recreating the kiss. Our lips moved in-sync still knowing exactly how the other person is. It's like riding a bike, we've learn each others lips so well that we still moved perfectly together.
I felt him leaning closer against my body encouraging me to step backwards. Giving in I walked backwards guided by him until i made it to my bed and laid my body down onto the center of my bed with his help.
Things got a bit heated until we were interrupted by my phone going off.
