REMINDER:
The writing style of this novel is intended to be simple esp on chapters 1-10. The story may be cringe because of the simplicity of the scenes considering the age of the characters but as the story progresses, the writing style is subject to change to match the ages of the characters. So, as early as now, if you don't want cringe stuff, find a different story. If you are the type of reader who wants perfect scenes and characters you cannot find that here as I love creating flawed characters and events.

JESS
I looked up at the infinite roof. It was an extent of sapphire blue as the fireball glared at me casting a golden glow upon the realm. There were sprinkled fluffy clouds sculpting themselves as if taking every opportunity to invest as the wind blows. Some clouds shaped beautifully gaining attention from the crowd. Some were just massive taking all space from above, seeing they were boring. Some disappeared in an instant as if they gave up on life that they let the wind cast a dark spell on them and instead of fighting they gave in to accept defeat.
I finally entered the gate of the campus after I felt the satisfaction of observing the blue sky.
I was walking along the quiet hallway in our school when someone suddenly slapped my shoulder.
"Araaay!"
She look fresh and dynamically pretty, as usual but I hate her perfume. Too manly.
amoy siga!
"Baliw ka talaga?" I stared at her, "how many times I have told you not to do that to me! and how many times do I gotta tell yah!" I rolled my eyes.
"Sino kaya ang nababaliw diyan na nakatulala kanina?"
"I was just thinking para sa first ever presentation namin mamaya. Alam mo naman HUMANISTA 'to..." Sabay turo ko sa sariling dibdib.
"What? You'll have a damn presentation!? Gosh.. June palang, pangatlong araw palang ng pasukan!"
Halos lumuwa na ang mga mata ni Halie sa pagkabigla.
"We're already senior high schools, you know, parang college na and Humanista ako," nagkibit balikat ako habang ang kaliwa kong kamay ay hinihimas parin ang aking kanang balikat.
"Talagang more on presentation at magkakaroon pa nga kami ng debate after."
"If I were you,.. I'm gonna drop out sa academic strand na 'yan talaga," oa niyang pagkakasabi.
"Sira-ulo!"
