"Spence come and help me with this!" I yell, holding the string of lights. They were like fairy lights but with orange pumpkins as the lights.

"Help you with what?" He asks, walking over to me

"I need your tallness"

"Val I don't even think I'm tall enough to get those up there" He tells me, making me pout

"What if I go on your shoulders?" I suggest, smiling wide

"Sure but if you fall you're not allowed to sue me"

I snap my fingers as I move my arm, "Darn I was hoping to get some bank"

Spencer shakes his head and helps me off the chair. He sits at the edge of the couch and I stand behind him, placing my hands on his head as I put my legs over his shoulders.

"Ready?"

"Yes sir. Time for liftoff" I laugh at my own horrible joke

He places his hands up on my thighs, keeping me steady as he stands up. I grip his head and accidentally pull his hair, making him groan.

"You're going to be the reason I go bald"

I scoff, "Pfft calm down. You'll go bald from being stressed all the time, not from me pulling it. Now go over to the windows so I can hang these" I tug on his hair again to annoy him

"This is reminding me of Ratatouille" he laughs, walking over to the windows

"Spence if I laugh I'm going to fall off so stop" I bite my lip, holding back my laugh

"Okay, okay"

"Now be helpful and pass the lights up to me"

He slowly bends down slightly, grabbing the lights and holding them up to me. I let go of his head and grab them, untangling them.

"Untangle them as you pass them up to me, it'll be easier that way"

"Sure thing. Would you like anything else princess?" He jokes

"Which am I? Ratatouille or a princess?" I ask, starting to hang the lights off the window

"Now I'm imagining Ratatouille in a princess dress" He starts to shake as he laughs, making me almost fall back but I grip his head

"I truly do not want to die from you laughing" I keep one of my hands on his forehead, and attempt to hang the lights with one hand, not trusting to let go of him anymore.

"Your hand is sweaty and gross, take it off my forehead. You probably just transferred billions of germs onto my face" He rambles

I roll my eyes, "I washed my hands beforehand, you're fine"

It silent for a few minutes before Spencer starts complaining again. "My shoulders hurt. Stop gripping your legs so tight"

"Spence I'm about to lean back and KO you into next week if you don't stop complaining" I snap, making him mumble under his breath.

I lean my body forward, my face upside down in front of his. "What was that?"

His eyes lock with mine, and he smirks, "I'd like to see you try"

"Now I'm not gonna do it because you want me to" I huff, hanging up the last end of the lights. "Help me down please"

Spencer goes back to the couch, slowly lowering himself to sit on it.
