Authors POV

"Ishaan."

"Asha maa."

Both of them said together shocking, Nisha looked at them confused not knowing how they know each other.

Asha was the first one recover , her eyes fall on a confused Nisha and she knows she have to do something Soo Ishaan doesn't say anything in front of her.

"Nisha why don't you make some tea for us till then I and Ishaan talk something important in the terrace." Asha said looking at Nisha.

Nisha nodded she knows Asha didn't wanted her to be present when they were talking and she respected their privacy but she was curious about how they both know each other when she never meet him before.

"Why don't we talk in the terrace ishaan." Asha said to him and he nodded still dazed.

In the terrace

"Asha maa where were you all these years, you suddenly disappeared..i..I..I.. tried Soo much to search you but... Maa...many things.. happened in the..these years." Ishaan told her.

Asha was facing her back towards him , because she knows that if she face him she won't be able to control her emotions, she knows everything which happened all these years but she couldn't do anything.

Ishaan saw her tensed up back." Maa Zo..Zoyi is no...no..more... our Zoya is no more..." He said as lump formed on his throat Making it difficult for him to breath.

From childhood only death was the only thing which always chased him, it snatched everyone from him first his parents and then his Zoya his only Ray of hope,

"Asha maa why are you silent say something." He said,

He didn't know why she was silent, he expected her to say something to him anything after all these years, she always had a motherly place in his heart,

"What can I say ishaan, what do you expect me to say after listening my Zoyi is no more, you know that I never had any children's and that's why that orphanage was my favorite place because I found you and Zoya there as my children's.." Asha said painfully as she finally turned towards him.

"Because of some reason I had to leave that city ishaan but after that I tried to search for you but I got to know that you left India." She told him as she remembered those dark days.

Ishaan nodded." After Zoya death I didn't had anything here maa , you know Zoya always told me that Revenge will never give you peace that's why I started a new life with her maa because that teenage me believe her words but see where it lead me, past never leave us maa and it snatched my Zoyi from me, that's why after her death I went to start my revenge game." Ishaan told her his expression was dark and lethal with eyes turned bloodshot and curled into fist.

Asha was shocked seeing his this avtar he was not that innocent shy softhearted guy anymore whom she knows in the past.

"Ish.. ishaan what happened to Zoya." She asked to know if he got know the whole truth.

Ishaan nodded his head." I know who killed her maa and I won't leave him but I don't know the reason of why he destroyed my life like that,." Ishaan said his expression was of that pain and anger.

Asha looked him helplessly from his words she knows that he only knows half truth , she wished she could tell him everything, everything which no one knows but she knows it's not the right time.

Asha sighed." Ishaan let's go downstairs Nisha is alone and it's already very late." She told him to change the topic.

"Who is Nisha Asha maa as you always told us that you never had any child." Ishaan asked out of curiosity.

"She is a orphan ishaan, after I lost both you I started to feel lonely and that's why adopted her, this way she will also be saved from the evil people in this world and I also will be saved from loneliness, but she doesn't know it and you also please don't say about also these to her." Asha told him half truth.

Ishaan nodded he didn't wanted to ask anymore questions, after long he has found someone who was just like his mother and didn't wanted to spoil the little ray of hope of light in his dark life,

"But how did you..." Asha asked not knowing how he come here.

"Your daughter is a trouble magnet maa will tell you some other time." Ishaan told her,but inside he was greatfull to Nisha as it only for her he found his Asha maa.

They walked downstairs."Maa I have Soo many things to tell you but it's already late I should leave now I will come back tomorrow." Ishaan said to her.

Asha nodded, Ishaan hugged her left.

"Maa." Asha turned around to see Nisha standing with a confused expression

Asha hummed at her and entered inside locking the door, she was lost in her thoughts,

"Maa you know him." She asked

Asha nodded." I know him from childhood Nisha but because of some reason I had lost contact with him." She told her.

Nisha nodded , she was feeling happy that from now on she will get to meet him more often," maa why didn't you stopped him he could have dinner with us nah." Nisha told her.

"No Nisha, let him be alone sometime to get hold of his emotion." Asha told her knowing very well that how much painful it be for him as meeting her means remembering all those sweet memories.

Nisha nodded." Okay I serve us the dinner." Saying this she went to kitchen.

While Asha stood there Deep in her thoughts, all these years she never thought that she will meet ishaan again , she knows that if anyone can ever safe Nisha then it's him but the thing that he is still unaware of the real truth of past is the thing which scaring her more.

She looked Nisha who was happily talking with Benji and serving the dinner , she still remember that horrifying day both the girls whom Asha loved as her daughter was tortured in front of her, Nisha's pleading voice still rings in her ear, she couldn't save Zoya but she was determined to save Nisha,

But the fear of Ishaan ever knowing the half past scares her to death , she had seen in his eyes the fire of revenge, and she just wished he doesn't fall in the trap of the made up past she made for everyone to believe.

Asha only prayed that Ishaan become her protector not her destroyer.
