Niki's POV:

I felt bad for Michael. He's been through so much. I can sense Michael's emotions. His emotions are real. I just hope that when we reach to Florida, I will help him find his daughter and clear his name. After consoling Michael, I asked, "How do you feel right now?"

"A-A little better," he said, stuttering.

"If it makes you any better, I was thinking of sitting next you until we reach Florida."

He made a gaping expression, which I couldn't help but laugh. "I'm sorry," I said, trying to get it out of my system. "It's just that your expression was funny. I couldn't help but laugh. I'm sorry, Michael. But hey, I really want to help you."

Michael smiled at me and said, "That's ok. I'm glad you want to help me."

"At least you understand," I said. "I also don't care about going to college, while I'm helping you."

"You don't need to do that," he said, feeling shocked.

"Yes I do," I said.

"No seriously."

"Michael, I always put others first when it comes to helping people. I don't care what it takes, as long as I'm helping people like you."

Michael's POV:

I never get much help from other people. Only my family helps me. This is like the first that's ever happened to me. Niki is so generous, sweet, and the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. After Niki was done talking, she pushed my hair back. I can feel her fingertips on my scalp, as she is stroking my hair. My cheeks felt warm, and I closed me eyes as she was doing it. Niki giggled when she saw me closed my eyes. I was blushing and said, "I-I didn't mean..."

"It's ok," she said. "You're very cute, Michael."

My face was red as a tomato, and Niki was laughing like crazy. This is the first time I've ever been embarrassed by a girl. Niki puts her hand on her mouth; showing that she felt bad, and she gave me a kiss on the cheek. My eyes wiened, and I smiled at her. Finally, Niki unfreeze time and sat next to me on the bus. The old ladies we've been sitting next to decided to sit next to each other, since they can't remember their actual seats. I whispered to Niki's ear, "At least we played them."

Niki laughed and I laughed with her. When it was night time, Niki felt a little sleepy. "Michael," she said. "Can I rest on your shoulder. I'm feeling sleepy."

I smiled and said, "Sure." She places her head on my shoulder and closed her eyes. Niki moved around a little, and she slept comfortably. "Goodnight, Niki," I whisperd in her ears.

I gave her a kiss on the forehead, and for some reason she smiled. I smiled and decided to sleep, as well. I rest on her head and closed my eyes, as I drift off to sleep. Suddenly, she placed her arm around my arm. I smiled and throughout the ride, we were resting peacefully.
