Trainee corps - chapter 7

The next morning...

  I woke up and  then yawn as I got up and put on my slipper then walk out of papa's room as my father look at me with a paperwork on his hand. As I sigh then sit down on the couch ruffling my hair a bit. " You need to take a bath now. Will be leaving after a minute or two." Papa said as I look up at him and nodded my head then walk to the bathroom. " Papa can you get my clothes back at my room and bag I forgot to bring it last night" I said " well don't worry Sarah someone has bring it already. " After my father said it someone knock on the door and then open it slowly revealing a scout member as she put it on the couch while I grab my clothes and went inside the bathroom then close the door behind me as I put the clothes on the sink and then went to the shower room and take off my clothes then start d bathing myself. After taking a bath I then started ruffling my body with a towel as I put on the underwear , bra , dress and grey jacket then I walk out with a towel on my head as I grab a comb and then walk to papa's bedroom and sit down on a chair and began combing my hair. After combing my hair I got up and put on my black shoes then walk out . My father looks at me then he got up and grab my bag as we walk out and head downstairs then went to the mess hall. I then open the door and we'll in then grab a tray as we sit down on papa's squad table. " Good morning captain and Sarah. You look handsome and pretty today with that clothes captains" Petra said chuckling a  bit. I rolled my eyes and sip on my tea. " Where are you both going corporal?" Ask Gunther as father puts down his cup before answering " I'm going to bring Sarah to the trainee corps. About the breach on the wall of Maria. Thus all the people in their evacuate to wall Rose?" Papa ask as I finish sipping my cup of tea. " Yes sir the commander of the garrison says that they did safely evacuate the the people to wall rose. But there is a problem when the townspeople get to Trost cause there is a food shortage. It didn't even last a year though" Eld replies.  " Hmmm. That isn't good to hear" papa said and everyone nodded their heads. " I heard that there is an Ackerman who got evcauted here on Trost in wall rose." Petra Said " so it was true that there is another Ackerman in the walls" I said plainly while still staring at my reflection on the tea before looking up with a blank look. Everyone looks at me before my father sigh as he got up and put his cup down then he looks at me and tilt his head sideways. " Let's go. The carriage arrive already" my father said and I nod then we got up and walk out the mess hall while I hold my bag. And as we neared the front door I saw commander Erwin, section commander hanji , captain Mike Zacharias with ms. Nanaba and me. Gelgar as they look at is with a smile except commander Erwin was serious this time. We finally arrive infront of them as ms. Hanji run upto me and give me a bone crushing hug while she cry as I pay her back. " I'm definitely going to comeback after this training ms. Hanji. I will graduate and choose this regiment then w can go capture titans together" I said as ms. Hanji look at me with a smile. " I know you will definitely do that my little Kawai bunny" ms. Hanji said and I nod. Ms. Nanaba then walk to me and pat my shoulder " goodluck and I will see you soon cadet" ms. Nanaba said and I look at her with a nod followed by Mr. Mike patting my shoulder as he give me a goodluck sniff and smirk which made me chuckle. Then lastly commander Erwin walk to me as he hug me which surprise me as he look at me " I'll be waiting to see you here in HQ as an official scout of this regiment. And goodluck with  the 3 years of training in the cadet corps..... Sarah Ackerman" Mr Erwin said with a smile as I nod and did my last salute before waving goodbye at them and walking inside the carriage as I sit down on the couch , my father following behind then the driver closed the door as we move towards the city of wall rose. " Were you nervous now? Sarah?" Papa ask as he was silent the whole time at HQ and I nod " yes papa. It's quite surprising to see commander Erwin hug me though. That was the first time actually." I said. " It isn't the first time he did that to you Sarah." Father interrupt as I look at him with a confused look. "Huh?" I ask a bit unsure. " He did carry you on the underground city when you cry and sleep on my shoulder that time when I was caught and get arrested by the survey corps." Papa said as he look out the window. " I taught you were the one who did that" I respond which made my father shook his head. " You are wrong Sarah. When we arrived at HQ . I was looking at Erwin seeing him staring at you like you were his daughter. I knew that in that time you are going to be safe here in the wall of HQ. But how did I even know? He was definitely thinking you were his daughter." My father said and chuckle as I smile at the thought. " Yeah I remember that papa." I said and my father nods. " Papa were you happy? When he position you as the corporal of survey corps and become humanities strongest soldier?" I ask. He sigh " actually at first when he said  that I will take the position of corporal.  I got angry. I was so enrage that I ended up attacking him with a blade and tried killing him. But I got stop by some of the members of the survey corps holding me back. It's suicidal if you said because that was the time of your uncle and aunty's death." My father said. That made both of us silent
" I wonder if they're happy there at heaven. Do you think they were smiling now?"  I ask as I was referring to aunty and uncle.  " Maybe they are. Who knows they might be watching us now" papa said with a shrug as I chuckle. I then look out the window and as we are nearing the walls of wall rose. Then I see guard out stopping ng the carriage me and my father look out the window sewing some guards talking to the driver as one look behind and then whisper on his team mates before the person nods and let us in the gates as the gate open and the carriage walk in after the driver says his Thankyou. We finally arrived at the city of wall rose as I look out the window to see some people in a market buying some sell goods while talking with each other and smiling. I turn my head towards the sky as I saw birds flying around. And finally after driving a few hours we finally arrived at the cadet trainee corps...
