Y/n: Give me some time to think about it.
I said and looked at my hands in my lap. I could hear him sighting.
D: May I ask why? Didn't you had fun today? Because I had a lot.
Y/n: No I had and Daniel I bet you're a great guy but... things are difficult.
D: What things?
Y/n: I-I can't tell you.
D: Why?
Y/n: Daniel... Please just leave it here. Thanks for bringing me home. I'll text you and think about your question.
D: Okay.
He said disappointed. I turned to the door to open it to get out but I stoped.
Y/n: Was it a mistake?
D: What?
Y/n: The so called date we had right now? Did I give you hopes that something could arise between you and I?
D: No it wasn't a mistake. Spending time with you could never be a mistake. I didn't give you my number without a reason. I like you. If you need time I'll give you time. Just please if you know from the beginning that there can never be more then a friendship tell me. Tell me now. Because then you'll give me hopes.
Y/n: Okay. Give me some time. Just a little bit.
D: I will.
Y/n: Okay thanks again for bringing me here.
D: You're welcome.
I just nodded and got out. I went up to my apartment door but looked behind me one last time. He still waited in his car until I'm inside. I smiled at him and he returned it but just with his mouth. His eyes were still insecure and not happy. I sighted and went in. At first I walked into my bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. Have I done the right thing? Yes for sure! Right? Yea I promised myself not to be that stupid again... never! My heart got broken once by a guy and swore myself that's never gonna happen again. Imagine I would really fall for him but then he'd push me away. Just because I get boring or something. He could have any girl and I would be just one of millions. While I thought all of this I took my makeup off. When I finished that I decided not to think about it anymore so I walked into the kitchen to drink something. When I got there I heard my phone ringing and I looked at it. I saw that Daniel texted me so I opened it:

Heyy Y/n.
I got home right now and all I can do is think about you... about what happened right now. I hope I don't wake you up if you're sleeping but I have to text you. Listen, there's a lot of rain and storm outside, so make sure you're okay. Btw you looked stunning today. Y/n I don't really know what's between us, just know that I like you. I mean in a friend way but I hope I can get the chance to maybe like you more then that. Anyways, see you soon. Hopefully very soon.
