Chapter 15

Alia's pov

"Good morning ma'am"Chloe greeted me excitedly.

"Morning Chloe, how are you?"I said pulling her into a hug.

When I woke up this morning I was filled with hope, and determination,i was filled with the will and power to fight, I was filled with strength like I could do anything at anytime.

I took my bath and headed down stairs, where breakfast was already served, I was told zion and Samantha went out before sunrise and I couldn't care less, after having breakfast I made my way to the office.

"What are you doing here?"zion said at the door with a deep frown on his  face

"Chloe excuse us please"I said to her and immediately she left.

"What am I doing here? Is that even a question? Am here to work"I said and took my seat.

"What dirty work? Is that suppose to be your priority now? Really? You are meant to be home taking care of yourself and my child"zion said trying to control his temper.

"No, I don't think so, and just because I am carrying your child doesn't mean you can boss me around mr knight,I am still a staff In this company"I said angrily.

"And I am still your boss alia and I am telling you to go home" zion said and picked up my bag from the table.

"Now your body guard will escort you home, and please you are on maternity leave untill you give birth"Zion said and handed my bag over to the body guard I wasn't aware of.

I don't know if it was the hormones or if I was sincerely upset but I went over to where the bodyguard stood, slapped him and collected my bag and want over to where Zion stood and slapped him to.

"I am working and there is nothing you can do about it now get the hell out of my office and fire this big for nothing you call a body guard, when I need a body guard, I would let you know, now leave my office!"I shouted angrily at the both of them.

"Stop being stubborn"

"Get out mr knight, get out"I said this time angrily.

"What exactly is wrong with  you alia?!  For God sake can you stop being childish and reason with me here, I need you to rest, the doctor said you needed a lot of rest, and just a day after being kidnapped, here you are working!  And you expect me to just sit back and watch you loose my baby?! Hell No!" Zion said with an anger of his own.

"I am working and that is final!"I said and went over to my desk and sat down.

"Then the body guard stays! "Zion said and left my office in annoyance.

I couldn't care less if he was mad at me, I needed to work, cause that's the only way I can remain sane and I've never wanted to be a stay at home wife or mother, and him bossing me around only makes me more furious at him.

"Ma'am" Chloe said at the door gaining my attention

"Yes Chloe? "I said letting her know she could come in.

"Ma'am errm your meetings for today has all been canceled by Mr knight, right now you have nothing to do, I advice we go for your check up and from there, we could go shopping for the baby, what do you think? "Chloe said sheepishly, knowing fully well that I wasn't going to like what she just told me.

"I think I need to have a word with Mr knight"I said,  my temper rising again as I made my way out of my office to his.

Without knocking whatsoever I barged into his office, and if I said I was prepared for what I saw I would say it was a big lie.
