Chapter 43

She was definitely out of her mind if she thinks I would ever do something like that,kill the father of my kids? Hell no!,but I didn't need her to know that tho,I had to figure a way out of this.

"Why should I kill zion?"I asked.

"Cause his grandfather is responsible for the death of mine so yeah that's why you are going to kill him"she said bitterly.

"That doesn't answer my question,why me?"I said.

"It makes my revenge sweeter,it's a two way blessing for me,zion dies and you go to jail,win win baby!"she said with that devilish smile back on her face.

"What makes you think I'll ever do that?"I said.

"Cause you Alia,you are a mother,it's him or your sons dear,so what is it going to be? Zion? Or The twins?"she said and left the room and the men followed suit.

I broke down in tears,I couldn't believe I was in a situation where by the lives of my sons were at stake,all I do,I do for them,all this troubles I've found myself in,was all for them,to keep them safe and protect them from this harsh reality of life,and now I am in a cross road where I had to pick them or their father,and this was worse than any pain I've ever felt.

I prayed,if there was a God out there that he should save and help me,I didn't want my son's to die,neither did I want zion to,cause all he has ever done was love me,and he didn't deserve to pay for the sins of the past with his life.

*Meanwhile.......*

Zion's P.O.V

Immediately Alia told me she was done with talking to that son of a bitch I dropped everything I was doing and made my way to Gio's house,I wanted to be with her when she faced him but as always she refused,she always wanted to do things on her own and it drove me insane sometimes,but I knew better to let her do things her way, insisting would only push her away from me,and that.. I didn't want.

"Where to sir?"my driver James asked immediately he saw me.

"East side"I said and closed the door.

I hated the fact that Alia got herself mixed up with that asshole,I hated the fact that she doesn't trust me one bit after all I do to keep her safe,I hated that the Alia now isn't the same Alia I fell in love with in highschool,that Alia loved and trusted me,but this one does nothing but doubt me,and it's painful that you couldn't really blame her.

"We're here"James said.

I dialled her number but she didn't pick up,I tried it again and she still didn't pick up, angrily I got out of the car and pressed the bell.

A guy came out to see me with a frown on his face,I rolled my eyes at him.

"State your business zion"he said.

"I'm here for Alia"I said.

"She ain't here so bit it"he said.

"Then where is she?"I asked.

"I don't know,she left few minutes back,so get lost Knight"he said and closed the gate again.

I dialed Alia's number again but it kept ringing but she didn't pick,and I couldn't help but get worried, any time she doesn't pick up only means she's in trouble,and this time I won't forgive myself.

I pressed the gate bell again,and this time it was Gio who opened the gate,this bastard that was a torn in the flesh for me.

"Where is alia"I said in annoyance.

"She's not here,she's suppose to be with you,you dumb shit"he said.

"Well if she was would I be here asking of her whereabouts?"I said.

Without saying another word to me gio dialled Alia's number,and she didn't pick up either,if she wasn't with me or Gio then it's worse I thought.

"She's not picking"he said after dialling her number severally

"Exactly,so if she's not with neither of us then where the hell is alia?"I said.

Gio gave orders to his men to search the perimeter and ushered me into the house,we went over to his security room and asked the security guy to play the tape of today's event,and what I saw broke my heart.

"Do you know who would have done this?"I asked gio when we finished watching the tape.

"I'm not sure but the man had a snake tattoo on his arm,which only means that he is a viper,but what do the vipers want with Alia?"gio said.

"Revenge,they want revenge"I said as I began placing two and two together.

"From who?"he asked.

"From me Gio,the dispute between my family and the vipers still hasn't been settled"I said.

"But we don't even know who the leader of the viper is,if anything happens to alia I'll kill you!"gio said angrily.

"We can both kill each other when we find her,but for now,we need to find her and we need to do that as soon as possible"I said.

"Sir we found this"

One of Gio's men said gaining our attention he had a cellphone in his hands,and I recognized it immediately,it belonged to alia.

"This is her's"Gio said and collected the cell from the man.

"Yes it is and if I Know her well I believe she dropped this intentionally so we could find her"I said and collected the phone from gio.

I tapped the screen and a video started playing,a video of her being kidnapped,and it broke my heart the more.

All I do is put her in danger every single time,which makes me wonder if our strange love was really a curse,strange things shouldn't happen,life shouldn't be messed with,that was the only explanation for all this.

"We need to get her back"gio said.

And for the first time in our lives I and this asshole were on the same page.
