Chapter 21

The mansion was bubbling with guest, one week later,Zion decided to throw a party to welcome the twins.

Which I thought was absolutely unnecessary,with the number of guest we had one would think we were hosting the Grammys award.

"Congratulations Alia, I am so happy for you"a matured woman said to me.

"Thanks a lot ma,thank you"I said.

"Who would think a nobody will be the mother to the heirs of the Knight Empire,you really caught a big fish you know, and you made sure you had two boys! Wow"she said and took a sip from the wine glass she was holding.

"Oh yes I did, I bet I am the wisest of them all, if you don't mind this nobody has to go take care of her children, so please excuse me" I said and walked pass her.

I definitely wasn't going to loose my temper over someone's biased understanding of my life.

As I made my way pass the guest, I saw Zion talking with a lady,they looked like they were having a heated conversation,which made me curious,so I moved closer to them.

"Why are you here,I told you never to show your face at my house"Zion said to the lady.

she had her back to me so I couldn't see her face, but she had thick long black wavy hair that cascaded down her back gorgeously.

"I had to cause I need money okay! And here you are throwing a big party for that coma girl, cause she gave you two boys, what about me?"she said.

"Get out of here, I'll call you when I have something for you,in the mean time, please stay away okay"Zion said to her angrily.

"Don't test me Zion, you wouldn't want me to become an enemy"she said and left.

Immediately I tried to follow her,at list to get a glimpse of her face, but it was to no avail cause before I could catch up to her,it was almost like she vanished in the midst of the crowd.

"Alia"someone called my name and I turned to see who it was.

"Tracy,what do you want?"I said almost rolling my eyes at her.

"You know you are vulnerable now right? Since you aren't pregnant anymore,now I won't hold back"she said.

"And I am not asking you to,see,Tracy I am not scared of you,I am a mother now and being a mother comes with a strength you won't understand,being a mother comes with a power beyond your imagination,I'll do anything to protect my children even if it means killing you,so try me,if you don't mind I have a lot to do"I said and left making sure to brush my shoulders against hers.

I was done being scared,of her or anybody, I had two boys to protect now and I will do everything in my power to keep them safe,even if it means going to hell and back.

I left the sitting room where the guest were and went upstairs to my babies room, my mum and Zion's mum was there with the boys.

"Hello"I said to them and went over to where my boys were sleeping,every time I set my eyes on them I felt a kind of joy that was unexplainable,they have become my everything and watching them sleep soundly made me smile.

"Oh Alia,thank you so much for giving me grand sons,thank you"Mrs knight said with a smile on her face.

"And thank you for being here to show me how to take care of them,without You both I definitely wouldn't know what to do"I said and hugged them.

"A reunion without me?"someone said at the door.

"Eric"Mrs knight said and went over to hug her husband.

I admired the two of them in a way,their love started off on a very wrong note, a contract,and I heard how Mr Eric treated her, but look at them now,which made me wonder if my mum ever loved my real father.

"Oh Alia,thanks for the giving me two handsome boys,you just made me the most happiest grand father in the world,thank you"Mr Eric said and pulled me in for a hug.

And that was the first time in my life, I felt fatherly love,and it brought a kind of warmth to my heart and tears to my eyes.

"Really?a family reunion happening without me?"Zion said at the door getting everyone's attention.

Which made everyone laugh except me,seeing Zion with that mysterious woman only made me doubt him once again, he disappeared for months just to show up on my delivery day,just like that,and one week later he was talking to a mysterious woman,I had so many questions to ask,and I couldn't wait to ask them.

"Zion come with me,please excuse us"I said and left the room.

I went into the study and Zion followed suit,he had a confused look on his face.

"Who was the lady in red dress that you were talking to downstairs?"I asked.

"What lady?"

"Don't you dare try to lie to me or deny it,who was the lady you were talking to,I saw you both?!"I said loosing my temper.

"So you were eavesdropping on our conversation?"Zion said.

"Who was she? Let me guess another one of your many lovers? You know I don't care if you have a dozen of them out there,but don't bring them anywhere near my sons! Okay!"I said angrily.

"So you called me just to yell at me on our children's naming?"Zion said with his brows furrowed.

"I called you to make sure you don't do anything that would put our son in danger!"I said.

"Okay I've heard you, is that all?"he said.

"That's it?wont you explain yourself?"

"I won't cause I have nothing to explain to you,and say me hi to Aaron your lover"he said.

"How dare you say that to me!Aaron has been nothing but helpful,he has been a very good friend to me"I said

"Really?a good friend? Do you even know anything about him? You just trusted him blindly!"he said angrily.

"Cause he earned my trust!unlike you that keeps breaking my trust every single time!"I yelled.

"Break? How can I break something that was never given? Huh, Alia Trey Bailey,when did you ever give me your trust? Huh when Alia?"he said and started walking towards me,pinning me to the table eventually.

"I trusted you, but you betrayed my trust when I come out of coma and found out that you had many women!"I said.

"Cause I was hurting! I couldn't see you that way and not go crazy,not an excuse but that was the only way for me to handle the pain I felt every time I was told you hadn't woken up"he said.

"By going to bed with everything in skirt?,well good job Zion Enrique knight,now let go of me"I said and tried to push him away but couldn't.

"I can't! I'll never let go of you,do you know why? Cause I am in love with you Alia trey Bailey, I love you and you are the mother of my kids, and I don't want you to be a single mother living with her baby daddy, that's why I have made a decision" he said.

"What decision?"

"YOU WILL MARRY ME"he said.

"What?"

"I am not asking,I am telling you what's going to happen,now put on the ring"he said and brought out a ring from his pocket.

"What?"

"You will marry me Alia" he said and put the ring on my finger.

I was speechless
