I didn't know if him saying it out loud really made me realize what I have just done,or if I haven't really thought of it the way I should have,cause at that moment my heart dropped.

Did I just join something I knew I wasn't prepared for out of desperation?,I swallowed my saliva and took deep breaths,I closed my eyes and reminded myself why I turned to a stranger for help was cause I wanted to protect my children from my family,the irony of this situation.

I opened my eyes and saw ace looking at me with unreadable eyes,he stood there,just observing me,that's when I became even more conscious of his presence.

"I believe you just realized what you have gotten yourself into,and unfortunately there's no turning back anymore"he said.

"I don't want to turn back,but before I go any forder,you need to tell me why you where always at the hospital?,why you watched over me,and also why you dropped that note beside me"I said with my hands crossed on my chest.

"I've always been around you"he said.

I was expecting more,as always you'd expect more from a mafia boss right,cause with all the novels I read about them,they are powerful and are never underestimated,not shirtless and caring.

"That's it?"I said with a frown on my face.

"Yes"he said simply,which only annoyed me the more.

"How come I never knew you? Or have never seen you around?"I asked.

"You were never looking"he said with the same simplicity,that did nothing but upset me.

"I was you have never been there"I said in annoyance,his cold and calm demure was annoying.

"Come back tomorrow,and be more prepared"he said.

"What?...are we done for today?"I asked.

"Yes"

"I don't understand,you made me drive four hours just for a ring?"I asked in annoyance.

"Patience Alia, what's ahead of you is too powerful,I am giving you the opportunity to breathe,cause after today,it would be sink or swim for you, you against zion, your mother and an unknown enemy,I am not sure you are ready either" he said with the same simple cold manner.

"Unknown enemy?,zion? Why will I be against zion?"I asked confused.

"Because only one of you can live,and I am sure you wouldn't want to leave your children to him, see , Alia I asked if you were ready for this and you agreed,there's no turning back from here"he said.

"Why do any of us have to die,I.....I...I came here cause I wanted to be strong enough to protect my children,okay! I won't kill anyone"I said stuttering out of fear.

"Where did you think zion was for almost a year?,what do you think your mother has in store for you?,how sure are you that you are safe?"he questioned

"I don't know okay,I don't know anything but what I know is,I am not killing anyone!"I exclaimed.

The thought of it alone was scaring me,I knew everyone was hiding something from me,my mum,zion, and now a secret enemy,but I also knew that I wasn't a murderer and would never be,no matter how what,I came here to be strong and that's it.

"And what I know is,you won't let anyone harm your babies,go home now"he said and turned his back on me.

"I don't know how to leave here" I said

"There's a door behind you,use it"he said not bothering to face me.

If there was a door to enter this place,why did he have to take me through the hole, I thought and rolled my eyes.

I pulled open the door and walked through the corridors i saw, at the end of the corridor,there was another door,I pulled open that one too and met another longer corridor,

You had to be kidding me!

I was left with no option so I walked down the corridor,as I kept going,my actions began to play in my head,but most especially Ace's words, and his words came with unanswered questions.

But I knew one thing was for sure,there was no going back for me,I came this far and I would see to the end of it.

I began to hear voices afar of so I decided to run towards them, walking down a creepy not too bright corridor was scary,I ran as fast as I could,I was getting closer to where the voices where coming from, honestly I was exhausted,I was sure I have been down here for almost an hour.

I saw another door and ran towards it, quickly I puked it open and where I saw myself surprised me, I had just walked into a coffee shop,but I was behind the counter and there was a lady attending to customers.

How?

Even I myself was surprised,I stood there for a while watching the lady serve them,I didn't know if she was aware of my presence because she just continued serving the customers like she didn't just hear the door close behind her,which was more creepy.

I walked up to her and touched her,when the last customer took his order and left,she didn't flinch,she just turned to face me,with the same unreadable expression and eyes Ace did.

"Where am I?"I asked her.

"Close to your office"she said.

"My office?,I don't understand"I asked confused.

"Then maybe you should go outside and check"she said and went back to answering her customers.

I walked out of the counter and made my way pass the people there,I pulled open the front door and lo and behold the knights empire building was directly opposite the coffee shop,then I remembered this coffee shop.

When I was pregnant I only craved for the donuts and coffee they sold here,any other one was a big no for me,I came here all the time.

Which only means that Ace has been keeping tabs on me,cause this wasn't a coincidence,he wanted me to find out about this,and it only brought more questions to my mind.

Who was Ace?, What is his mission? How does he know so much? But all these wasn't the biggest question on my mind,the biggest question was,

Is he an ENEMY or FRIEND?

And if he turns out to be an Enemy then I just walked into his trap,and that was worse.
