CHAPTER 12

When I received a call from Aaron that Alia was shot by an unknown gunman,it was like my whole world came crumbling down.

I was furious,I was scared,I panicked but I knew I had to remain calm, I didn't understand why she had to suffer all the time.

I couldn't understand why all these things were happening to her, my Alia, I felt like I had failed,cause I promised everyone I would keep her safe,but what did I do instead,I couldn't even protect her for two months.

Quickly I drove to the hospital on Nothing but a short and polo,I kept praying, begging and wishing nothing bad happens to her,cause I swore I would destroy whosoever did this to her.

When I got to the hospital,I quickly asked the nurse I saw and I was told she was being operated on.

"Mr knight"I heard someone say and turned to see it was Aaron.

Angrily I pushed him to the wall and punched him,I wanted to kill him,cause he was the reason my Alia was in danger,his stupid date, I kept punching him until some male nurses came to separate us.

"If anything happens to her,I swear I would kill you mark my words!!!"I said angrily and pushed the nurses trying to hold me.

"I didn't do anything wrong by taking her on a date okay! I never meant for this to happen!"Aaron said angrily after regaining his strength.

"You, just shut up your filthy mouth,you never meant for this to happen? Are you crazy? I told you to take care of her! And what did you do?! You let her get hurt you imbecile"I said and tried to punch him again but was stopped by the nurses.

"I didn't mean for things to happen this way okay! Calm down Zion"Aaron said.

"I would destroy you if anything happens to her I promise"I said.

"Mr knight,Mr McKellen" a doctor said gaining our attention.

"Yes"we both chorused.

"Which of you is a relative to the patient?"the doctor asked.

"I am" I said stepping forward.

"Come with me to my office please there are things I need to tell you"the doctor said and I followed her.

All the while I was thinking and praying that nothing was wrong with her,cause I didn't know how I was going to cope if that was the case.

"Take a seat sir" the doctor said and did same.

"The patient, miss Alia Trey,how are you related to her?"she asked

"I'm her guardian here,her mum placed her in my care and I'm also her boyfriend"I said.

"Okay, well miss Alia has amnesia,and that has been going on for a while now I guess,two, when she was brought in and after the bullets where taking out of her I noticed something about her so I decided to run every kind of test on her and since you are her boyfriend I believe you should have noticed one or two things about her, if you haven't then I am happy to announce that you guys are expecting a baby,I don't think she should be told now cause I am not sure how stable she is yet to accept such news just in case it wasn't planned for"the doctor said.

I sat there dumbstruck,I couldn't process what the doctor just said, neither could I believe it,and for a good five mins I just sat down there looking at the doctor.

"Mr knight?"she called.

"Doctor are you sure?"I asked.

"She's a week gone already" the doctor said and put a peice of  paper in front of me, a proof to her claim.
