"Well, well, well. If it isn't my foot's murderer." I pleasantly welcome Jenny.

Parker said I was supposed to be nice to everyone who came to our booth.

Screw Parker.

She puts the 5 dollar bill on the table.

Her high-waisted jeans hug her hips and her see through top is loose around her torso.

I'll just focus on earning money, now.

She throws the rings towards the bottles, sorely missing and I laugh.

She scowls, picking up another ring, fitting it perfectly around a bottle.

Smugly, she arches her brow and I give out a saccharine smile.

"Congrats, would you like a teddy bear I stole from a 5 year old?" I pick out a stuffed animal.

"Ever the gentleman." She cocks her head to the side.

"I like to keep things interesting around this awfully dull town."

"No need, I'm here now." She places her hands on her hips. Ah, finally, someone who speaks my language fluently.

"And that, is the cause of concern."

She actually lets out a small smile.

"I haven't even done anything, yet." Her smile widens in the slightest.

"Besides kill my foot." I laugh, liking her smile.

"You deserved it."

"Oof. I'm keeping the bear now." I dangle the stuffed animal and she snatches it.

Just then Axel runs into view. Literally.

"Hey, Usain Bolt! Where you headed?" I yell.

"Usain Bolt?! Where?" Parker pops up from the back.

"Lloyd." Axel grasps for air.

"Excuse me?" Parker is serious now and  Jenny's confused.

"Where?" I ask.

"Cornered me near my car. He said one guy's sent out to get J. Dead or alive. And I just, I don't- I have to go." He runs his hand through his hair.

Even if Lloyd was messing with us, this wasn't a risk we could take.

"We'll come with. I'll grab everyone else. Scar you go with him. Scan the parking lot." Parker rushes to carry out his task.

"I'll ask Heath to ask Chase where he parked his car. She probably went to get something from it." I pull out my cell, leaving with Axel.

I've never seen Axel this panicked, even during the fire.

"What's going on? Is Juliet okay?" Jenny asks.

"Yeah. Just this guy that won't leave her alone. Take care of the booth, okay? We'll be back." I say.

***

"Not here." Axel kicks the car next to him.

Poor car.

"Hey, it's been a minute." I trail behind him.

"I can't afford a minute right now." He grits.

"We'll find her." I reassure him and I pray I'm right.

"And if we don't?" He asks, then yells Juliet's name again.

"We will." I reiterate. We have to.
