The end of the world is near.
Yet you will hear others grumble
That there is nothing to fear.
Some people whisper
That there is death waiting in the shadows,
That all we need to say to save the day
Is a common hero.
You may hear people shout,
Get up and Defend our land!
Yet as we fight
No one stands.
The world is full of whispers,
Full of lies and of grace.
Yet it is also full of screams,
Of anger and distaste.
But what do you do
When there comes a day
That the world is silent
And nothing is left to say?
