Author-Chan's POV It was a pretty normal Sunday for the vampires in the Sakamaki mansion. Well, as normal as it could be.
"Oh my God!! You look so fucking cool!" Laito gushed over Rose's sudden beauty.
"Thanks." Rose says with a small smile.
"As pretty as ever, my baby." Subaru back hugs Rose and kisses her cheek.
"Ew. Get a room." Shuu fake gagged.
"You get a life." Subaru sassed back.
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Want some ice for that burn?" Reiji actually mused to everyone's surprise.
"What? Author-Chan made me a little bit more fun to hang out with in her book."
"What?"
"Nothing!"
"Sorry, we're late. Did we miss something?" Ayato asked as he walked in with Yui.
"Absolutely nothing yet." Shuu scoffed.
Rose's POV We were all just sitting in the living room and talking among ourselves. It was peaceful. I didn't feel anything different, nothing major at least, not yet anyways. Subaru had a protective arm around my shoulder and I just leaned into his side hug, laying my head on his shoulder, completely relaxing.
We continued to talk, when the main door of the house was suddenly thrown open. We all stood up, Subaru pushing me behind him while Ayato did the same with Yui. All the brothers immediately went in front of us in a protective stance.
"Mommy!!!" And when me and Yui stood on our tippy toes to look at who came in, we saw two little boys running towards us but were obviously stopped by the large men in front of them.
"Mommy?" I heard one of them call out and looked at Yui.
"Kai? Ken? What are you both doing here? And where is your mommy?" Reiji asked as he kneeled down to get eye level contact with the children.
