I fix my blue dress, staring at myself in the mirror.

Always a mother, Mia. Mother Mia. Ha.

"Baby, are you ready to go?" Michael smiles, holding onto our hospital bag.

I grin, "Of course." I say, giving the room one last look.

The place where I lost my baby. It's going to haunt me forever. It doesn't even feel real! I went through nine perfect months of pregnancy. My first planned pregnancy and it all goes wrong. I hope Michael understands that I truly can't have anymore children. He doesn't have to physically go through labor. I do. He doesn't know the true pain of losing a child like I have. I've lost three children now in my life. I went from irresponsible to responsible. My HIV won't be able to carry anymore children because it kills them. Innocent children of mine are just dying because of my illness. I won't let that be anymore.

Michael holds me close to him, "Baby?" He softly asks.

I look at him, "Hm?" I weakly smile.

Michael frowns, "What's wrong?" He asks.

My eyes widen, shaking my head. "Nothing, Michael!" I force a chuckle.

"Are you su-"

"We should get going, babe." I interrupt Michael.

Michael softly sighs, "Alright.." He mumbles, gently touching my back.

I walk over towards April's bed, picking her up.

"Hey, baby." I coo.

"We're going home today." I couldn't help but smile at her.

April slowly opens her eyes, squinting at me.

I smirk. Michael's eyes.. That's all I can see. His eyes are very comforting to me. I can just tell his mood by his eyes. If he's in pain, if he's happy, if he regrets.. Eyes to the soul. Beautiful..

"We can go now." I quietly tell Michael.

Michael nods, opening the door for me.

"Thank you." I whisper, walking out the door.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Michael smiles as we set outside.
I force a smile as paparazzi surround us everywhere.
Michael leans towards me, "Our car is across, over there." He points across the street.
It couldn't have been closer? Great.
Michael places one hand on the lower part of my back. He guides me through the crowd of fans and cameras.
"Michael! Mia!" We hear reporters call our names.
"Michael, where is the other baby?!" I hear one shout.
I gulp, feeling my heart start to ache a little.
"Ignore them." Michael whispers in my ear.
"Is it a girl?!"
"Is it a boy?!"
"Is it Michael's?!" Another reporter shouts.
I grit my teeth, hoping into the car quickly.
I place April in her seat beside me.
Michael sits beside me, slamming the door shut.
"Did she really just ask me that?" I growl.
