I slammed the front door as I entered the apartment.

"Ballet practice must've been pretty short, huh?" Kevin asked.

My eyes widened a little. Right.. Ballet practice.

"You weren't gone for that long." He sternly said, looking at me.

I quickly nodded, "The teachers decided to let us go early today. W-We've been practicing so hard u-"

"Mhm.." Kevin frowned.

"Why are you lying?" He lowly asked.

"What?" I softly said.

Kevin got up from the couch. "You heard me." He raised his voice as he grabbed me harshly.

"Where.Were.You." He growled.

I felt my heart race. "K-Kevin, you can't keep taking that cocaine, baby." I said, my voice wobbling.

Kevin threw me on the ground. "Don't tell me what to do." He spat.

"I-I just meant.. Um.. Not without me." I softly said, trying to change the subject.

Kevin smirked. "If you want it, go ahead. I bought a few pounds of that shit." He said, pointing to the big bag of cocaine.

I slowly nodded as I crawled towards the bag. This should shut him up.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang on the door.

Kevin groaned, stomping towards the door.

He swung open the door.

My eyes widened more as I saw Michael standing there.

He glared at me with disgust. "I need to speak to Mia." Michael said, looking back at Kevin.

I slowly got up from the ground, walking towards Michael and Kevin.

Kevin squinted his eyes at Michael, "She isn't available." He growled.

Michael smirked, "She's right there." Michael told Kevin, pointing at me.

Kevin looked at me, "Go on then." He lowly said, pushing me towards Michael.

I turned around, looking at Kevin. "Can we have a moment..?" I shyly asked.

Kevin cracked his fingers, "Sure.." He growled, walking into the next room.

I turned back around, facing Michael.

I sighed, "I shouldn't have said those things earlier..." I softly said.

"I'm sorry." I said.

Michael frowned, "I'm sorry too.. What were you doing back there?" He asked, pointing to the coffee table in the back.

"Um.. I-I was um..."

Michael looked at me with disgust, "Drugs, Mia? You were doing drugs?" He firmly asked.

I sighed, "Michael, I-"

"Who are you, Mia?" Michael asked.

"Michael? I-"

"Because you've changed so much recently. I don't like it." Michael confessed.

"Did you do drugs when your Uncle Peter sold them?" He asked.

I glared at Michael, "Don't bring my uncle into th-"

"Did you?" Michael repeated himself.

I sighed loudly, "No, Michael." I raised my voice.
