I sat in the hospital bed, staring out the window. I looked at the raindrops falling from the sky. My eyes stung from all the tears I had cried earlier.

I can't believe I just lost my baby... This doesn't feel real.

Suddenly, I heard the door open.

I turned around and saw Michael walk towards me.

I watched him stomp into the room and sit beside me.

"Michael, I-"

"I signed you out of the hospital. We need to get going." Michael said.

I sighed.

Michael hasn't said a word since the doctor explained to us what had happened.

I got out of bed.

"I went back to the hotel. Our things are packed and have been sent to the airport. I brought you some clothes." He said, throwing me a bundle of clothing.

I frowned, "Thanks.." I softly said, holding onto the bundle.

"I'll meet you out in the hallway." Michael sternly said as he got up from the chair.

Michael stomped out of the room, leaving me alone again.

I sighed, walking towards the bathroom as I locked myself in there.

What are you doing to yourself, Mia? I sniffled, feeling tears form in my eyes.

I took my hospital clothes off as I stared at myself in the mirror.

You wouldn't have been a good mother anyway..

Michael and I sat in his private plane in silence.

He hasn't said a single word to me.. God, he's mad.

I reached for his hand.

Michael glared at me as he pulled his hand back.

"Don't touch me." He harshly said.

I gulped, slowly putting my hand back.

"Did you know about the baby?" He shot at me.

I gulped, sitting in silence.

"Did you?" Michael repeated.

"Michael... I-I'm sorry.." I softly said, looking at him.

Michael looked at me with disgust.

"Sorry for what? For lying to me once again?" He spat.

I sighed, "It's more complicated than tha-"

Michael pounded his fist on the table as he jumped out of his seat.

"Enough, Mia!" He shouted.

My eyes widened.

"I'm tired of that excuse! I'm so sick of it!!" Michael yelled, hitting the table multiple times with his hand.

"JUST TELL ME THE TRUTH, MIA! WHY!?" He shouted.

"Because I didn't know how to tell you!" I cried.

Michael smirked, "Yeah, right." He glared at me in anger.

"What's the real reason?" He growled.

I stood up from my seat, "That is the real reason!" I shouted, feeling angry.

"What does it matter anyway?! The baby is gone! It wasn't even yours to begin with, so why does it matter?!" I yelled.

Michael looked taken back by my words. "Mia, that was an innocent child you just lost." He lowly said.

"It does matter because that child would've changed your whole life." He said.

I glared at him, "The baby is gone, Michael." I softly said, my voice cracking.

"When did you find out you were pregnant to begin with?" Michael said, leaning against the table.

I shrugged.

Michael glared at me.

I sighed, crossing my arms, "I found out when we were both in the hospital.." I softly said.

I looked up at him, "I was gonna tell you, Michael! I tried!" I said.

Michael stared at me.

"You've told me so many things in your lifetime, Mia... I just don't understand why these last few months you've said nothing." He snarled.

I sighed, "When you've experienced the things I have then you'd understand." I sternly said.

Michael scoffed, "As if I haven't? You know how my father was!" He said.

I stared at him. "Did your own father rape you, Michael?" I said.

Michael's eyes widened, "No, bu-"

"We have similar childhoods, Michael. But my Uncle has done things that I can't even explain because it hurts... You don't understand how much I want to just scream out your name and tell you everything." I said as I started to cry.

Michael turned away from me. I saw his shoulders slowly go up and down.

I touched his shoulders as I looked at him.

"Don't cry for me, Michael. Don't cry.. Please.." I softly said.

Michael covered his face as he turned away from me.

"Michael.." I cooed, turning him towards me.

Michael stared at me with red eyes.

"The past is the past." I whispered.

Michael pulled me closer to him.

I held onto Michael tightly.

"Just stop getting hurt, Mia. If you'd stop getting hurt then I wouldn't have to cry." He mumbled.

I chuckled. "I didn't pray for this, Michael."

Michael sobbed in my arms.

"I hate seeing you hurt, Mia. I hate it so much!" He cried.

"As long as I'm in your arms, Michael. I won't be hurt." I said, rubbing his back.

"Now you're just being a charmer..." Michael chuckled.

I smirked, "I only learn from the best." I sniffled.

Michael laughed as he let go of me.

I took a deep breath as Michael wiped my tears. "It's time to be done with the tears." He said.

I smirked. "Agreed."

"I guess I'll have to watch you for now on then." Michael smirked.

I chuckled, "Take me with you, good sir. I get ever so lonely!" I dramatically said.

Michael laughed, "Oh, shut up.." He chuckled, holding onto my hands.

Our foreheads touched.

"Are you going to be alright, Mia?" Michael softly asked, looking into my eyes.

I shrugged, "It's a healing process." I said, showing a small smile.

Michael smirked, "Let me heal you some more." He softly said.

I furrowed my eyebrows.

Michael tilted his head as he gently kissed my lips.

At first I was surprised but then I closed my eyes, kissing back.

His lips were smooth and sweet. They molded perfectly onto my lips. I felt the fireworks spark in that kiss.

Michael broke the kiss as he gazed into my eyes.

"Better?" He shyly said.

I blushed, "Better."
