We all sat in the waiting room though there was nothing to wait for.

I bawled my eyes out into Izzy's shoulder , probably looking weak and pathetic but I didn't care.

The others had tried to stay strong but failed when Jake started crying.

So there we sat, waiting for the confirmation that she was gone.

I had seen the monitor go flat , I didn't need some professional telling me what that meant.

We all must have waited for at least an hour with everyone silent apart from the occasional sniffle and background noise hospitals are expected to have.

The doctor walked into the room with a worried look on his face.

"She's gone" I cry to the man as CC enveloped me in a hug.
