Best parents ever

Tessa's pov

We just got the news about my pregnancy. I had millions of tears under my eyes. I felt like the happiest person in the world but there was one thing that worried me the most and that was Hardin. He didn't say anything, his face was a blank page for me. He didn't have any expression on his face. I was trying to find an answer but i couldn't. He was just staring at the screen where the picture of the baby was. I finally decided to ask him

''Hardin?''

''Yeah?'' he answered without looking at me

''What are you thinking about?'' after a very long pause he finally said

''You seriously wanna know my opinion?'' he was looking at me already and the way he answered me worried me more and by this time i was hundred percent sure that he was going to tell me that he doesn't want the baby

''Yeah,'' i said quietly

''I think we are gonna be the best parents ever.'' i was taken back by his statement. I wasn't expecting him to say this.

''You really think so?'' i was smiling form ear to ear and more tears were under my eyes if that was even possible

''Yeah, i'm more then sure.'' he knelled down to be the same height as me. ''I'm afraid, i'm not hiding it but i want this baby. I mean we are getting married in less then a week. Its all perfect timing. I would like to have you by myself for a little bit longer as Mrs Scott but guess i cant.'' his hands were playing with my hair and wiping the tears under my eyes.

''OMG, i cant believe this is happening right now.'' he hugged me and kissed my forehead saying

''We have to tell everyone''

''No wait, i have a better idea.'' i told him the idea and he was fully in. We went back to the hotel and i was so relieved and at the same time so happy. I was gonna be a mom. From a very young age i used to play with dolls imagining that all of them were my babies, i would take care of them, feed them and right now i was going to have my own, with the man i loved the most in the world. I was sitting in the bed and Hardin asked

''There is one thing that still worries me''

''What is it?''

''How did you get pregnant? i mean you were on birth control pills right?''

''I was actually thinking about the same thing when we were at the doctor's office but i also remembered a night when i really didn't have the time to take the pill and we had sex. That's when we messed up''

''I'm glad we did,'' he said pecking my lips and putting his hand on my belly. ''I know you don't hear me yet, but i love you.'' he kissed my tummy and it was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen. The evening went pretty good, tho Hardin didn't let me do anything

''Hardin i'm 1 month pregnant yet, i think i can handle myself,'' i said chuckling.

''No i will do everything, you just sit and rest.'' i shook my head and went to the mirror. I didn't see a belly yet but i knew that there was a small human inside of me. The creature that was mine and Hardin's. I was kinda sure that it was going to be a girl but i didn't want to tell Hardin because he was sure that it was going to be a boy. It was already night and we were in bed. We talked a bit about our crazy day.

''I cant believe i'm gonna be a dad''

''You are gonna be the best dad ever,'' i said pecking his lips

''Good night loves,'' he kissed my tummy, came up and pecked my lips.

''Good night love.''

In the morning.

My alarm went off and i woke Hardin up too because we both had work. We got ready and i felt Hardin was acting weird again

''Something is up?''

''I think that you don't have to go to work. What if you fell bad or something, who is gonna take care of you?''

''Hardin,'' i said cupping his head with my hands, ''everything is gonna be fine, don't worry.'' i pecked his lips and went to put on some clothes. We were in the cab. I got out and went to Vance office. Hardin continued his way to his office. Seconds later i got a message which melted my heart...

What message did she get?

Why didn't they tell anyone about Tessa's pregnancy?
