Tess: She only wanted you to be happy. I think that's what every mother in the world wishes for her child. You cannot blame her for lying. She is suffering more than you.
Jeff: I feel so helpless. I wish I could have done something to cure her.
Tess: It would not have helped Jeff. She is damn serious. She feels enough proud to watch you growing. She knew what it felt like to live with all these pains. You should be proud of her. She is a brave woman.
Jeff: I failed as her son. She was always there. I was never fucking there. I ruined my life and blamed her for it.
Tess: You should just go, maybe shower her with more love.
Jeff: Promise you are never leaving again. I am sorry to you too. I love you.
Tess was carried away in that moment. Jeff was sorry for his mistakes and he was already devastated. She knew Jeff needed her and she would never accept to break him more.
Tess: I promise.
Jeff kissed her softly on her lips and went again to see Catherine.
Jeff: I want you to keep fighting till you can. Fight for my life. Stay with me.
