Jeff cooled down and offered to accompany Tess. Tess was happy with Jeff's gestures. Jeff, dressed up in a black suit, with that little beard highlighting his face, came with flowers at the doorstep of Tess' place, to pick up Tess and Alan.
"You look fabulous Jeff" Tess let out. Jeff looked like Tess' dream prince. Jeff felt good and they started for Noah's birthday party.
Noah welcomed them happily and walked them inside.
Tess (hugging Noah) : Happy birthday Noah.
Noah : Thank you Tess. Let me make Alan meet mom and dad. I will get back to you guys.
To Jeff's great surprise, he bumped into Bella. Bella parents and Noah parents are business partners. But Bella was not content to see Jeff and Tess so close, holding hands and emerged so much into each others' presence. She walked towards them.
Bella (embraced Jeff) : How have you been? You did not contact me after the previous night?
Tess let go of Jeff's hand.
Jeff: Can we talk later. Enjoy the party.
Jeff took Tess' hand again and started walking away when
Bella shouted "you are such a fucker Jeff! You are not worthy for her."
Tess was numb. She felt her world collapsing.
