summer, enchanting,
buds bloom,
lulling people in love.

Hearts once pumped
with hatred and disgust
due to the threat
in their mothers' abode.

Hearts now liberated
willing to be owned
for a forever.

A summer,
blooming two fools'
love story
to be echoed
even when they kiss
the ground beneath."

Saturday, scorching hot, Jeff drove to Georgia with Tess. Georgia was approximately fifteen hours from New York with breaks in between. Jeff found out about how Tess was fond of Georgia through reading one of her poem. Who knew Jeff was going to give life to the poem.

You and I

Not secure here anymore, with all this rush,

with our private lives turning public,

changing you and meddling with your feelings,

no need to prove yourself, I'll be

waiting at the door to take you home.

To somewhere where the flora

beautifies the soul- no sign of paparazzi,

where our breaths are not startled

with ignominious query,

where we can say sorry- tell me about

what I don't already know,

where my prayings will be

answered with each phenomenal bell,

where we don't pretend not to be together,

we be who we used to be,

where we kiss goodnight with a glass of wine,

fighting our ghosts,

where hope for another dawn twinkles.

we built our home down in Georgia,

for the end never proceeds towards You and I "
