It's been five years. Five years since Peter has been gone. You were standing in his room again. Staring at the things that he has left five years ago. Pictures of you and him on the wall. You did this everyday.
"Let's go for lunch." May says standing by the door. You wipe away your tears and nod. She leaves for you to take your time and join her by the main door.
You and May walk into the small cafe to enjoy a small meal. "Tony is back." May says as you have just given the order. Your eyes got wide as she sends a small smile towards you.
After lunch you make drive to meet up with Tony. He was on the front porch with his daughter. You start to cry as you exited the car slowly walking towards him. Tony puts his daughter down and started to walk behind her but stops as he hears soft cries.
"Y/n?" He asks a little surprised to see you. He runs down the small steps and gives you a big hug. "I'm so so happy to see you." You say. "Me too. Me too." He says.
You sit on the chair on the porch. Tony sitting on the other chair. "I promise you, I'll do everything to bring Peter back." He says. You put up a small smile in return.
Tony got to work to create a time machine with the remaining Avengers. You had worked with them a few times but after taking a five year break you were willing to do anything to bring Peter back.
"Jane was there and.. and.." Thor says as you all stare at him to explain something but he drifts off the topic to Jane. You adjust yourself in the chair looking at him. "Anyways, Y/n you should get some sleep." He says pointing towards you. "I haven't slept well in five years." You say. "That's why you need to go take a nap. While we do all these." He says. "I think you should hit the gym." You say as a joke to which they all softly laughed except for Thor who just motioned you to go and get some rest.
You drive to your place. You sigh dropping the keys and looking at the place. You jump on the bed hoping to get some rest.
A few hours later you jump up terrified. "Peter?" You say panicking. Jumping off the bed you grab your car keys and drive to the Avengers compound.
You see Pepper wave her hand towards you to follow her. You follow her inside to see the entire place all destroyed. "Peter?" You question as you see Peter through the fading smokes. "Y/n? Y/n!!" Peter says turning around and running towards you. "I must have passed out and when I woke up Mr.Stark was not there but Doctor Strange was there and he was like.. it's been five years- oh shit." He says realising that you have been without him for five whole years. He moves you into a tight hug as you held him tight and cried. "I'm so sorry. I'm so so sorry." He says into your ear. "I'm just happy you are back." You say pulling away from the hug. You see Tony really hurt and your smile fades away. Peter looks behind him to see what you were looking at.
Pepper was next to Tony as the others stand around him. Peter hugs you as he cried.
-A week later-
Things still seemed the same. Everyone was quiet. As if they were hiding themselves. It was a nightmare.
"PETER!!" You scream out as you wake up from a bad dream. "I'm here! I'm here!" He says rushing over to you and hugging you. I'm not going anywhere." He whispers to you leaving a soft kiss on your forehead.
