Chasing dreams needs to go through so many steps in life and these are more tough when it's in a different country. I moved to London to chase my dream of becoming an actress since I was a little girl.
Settling down and getting adjusted to the new environment took me a while and to keep me occupied I started to play small gigs at cafe's while auditioning for small plays. Being a violinist was much of a hobby than a career to me.
It was just another normal day in my life. I packed up my things as I walk towards the newly opened cafe nearby.
As I prepare to perform, my eyes caught on a guy who often visits everywhere I perform.
I prep up my things as I walk towards the table by the window. "Hi." A young guy stood infront of me. "Hi." I reply with a smile. "Can I sit here?" He asks. "Yeah sure." I say. "You play amazing." He compliments. "Thanks." I reply with a smile. "I would love to talk but I have to get back to work now." He says smiling as he got up.
-Tom's P.O.V-
Gosh. She is so pretty. I remember seeing her somewhere else but where though? I ask myself as I walk outside. "Who's the pretty lady?" Harrison asks. "I don't know. She is very pretty though." I reply. "Yeah. Next thing you know it will be on the headlines on the news, Tom Holland got a girlfriend." Harrison says as I chuckle.
"Um, Tom? Isn't that her?" Harrison questions as he moves my head towards the side of the set. Groups of people with scripts were gathered. She stood there aside reading the script carefully. Creating swift movements with her hand. She was showing it to the director. "Is it an audition? Is it over?" I ask. "I think so. You think she got it?" Harrison asks.
I walk towards her once she was done. "Hi." I say. Damn it Tom. Move up than a hi. "Oh, hi." She says with a bright smile. "Um, you here for that audition?" I ask. "Um, yeah." She says not making much eye contact with me. "How did it go?" I ask playing with my fingers. "It went okay. I got the part but I'm so nervous." She says looking at the script in her hands.
"Is that girl in any scenes with me?" I ask the director who gives me a weird smile. "You like her Thomas?" He asks. "I.. umm.. just.. um.. just asking." I say. He chuckles. "Yes you do~" He says walking past me to the set. "Sooooo?" Harrison asks. "What?" I ask annoyed with the weird behaviour around me. "Nothing. Nothing." He says putting his hands in the air.
"Oh hi." Y/n says. "H.. Hi." I greet her back. "Oh.. I am your customer." I say going through the script. She smiles at me.
"Aannnnd CUT!" The director yells from his chair. "Wonderful work guys. That's all for today." He finishes. "Hey um, do you want to grab some coffee?" I ask Y/n. "I would love that." She says with her bright smile.
