God damn, Michael...

God damn..

I shifted my black pencil skirt to the left, letting it fit more correctly.

I smiled, waiting at the front door for Debbie to come by and drop Rose off.

There was a knock on the front door.

I smiled widely, excited to see my baby girl again.

It may have been only one night but I've missed my daughter crazy!

I quickly opened the door, smiling widely at my daughter as Debbie handed Rose to me.

"Oh hi, my baby girl!" I cooed, covering her face with kisses.

Rose groaned as she hugged me tightly.

I smiled at Debbie, "Thank you so much again, Debbie! Come on in!" I chirped, letting her enter our home.

Debbie walked past me as I slowly closed the door.

As Debbie and I started to walk down the halls, I saw Michael on the other side, running towards us.

"Oh, Rose!" He cooed, taking Rose away from me as he spun her around.

"Careful, Michael! She just ate." Debbie warned him.

Michael immediately stopped spinning her around.

Rose started laughing uncontrollably.

My heart fluttered. Oh, my baby's laughter...I smiled.

"Michael, how about you and Rose go play around in her room? Debbie needs to give me my medication." I said.

Michael smirked, "Alright, baby." He softly said, kissing the side of my face as he walked past me.

I blushed as Debbie and I walked into my bedroom.

I sat down in a chair as Debbie grabbed her supplies.

"Congratulations on the marriage again, Mia! How exciting!" Debbie smiled widely, filling the needle with medication.

I grinned widely, "Thank you. I'm so... Well.. Just about complete!" I chuckled.

Debbie furrowed her eyebrows as she rolled my sleeve up. "Why aren't you fully complete?" She curiously asked as she slowly started giving me my Leucovorin.

I smirked, "Well..." I breathed.

"Michael and I want more children..." I slowly said, watching Debbie's reaction.

Debbie cleared her throat as she cleaned my arm. "W-What? Come again?" She stuttered.

I gulped, "Yes. Michael and I love children, Debbie. Rose is Kevin's baby by blood, not Michael's. I can see why Michael would want children of his own. I'm his wife, it's the least I can do." I explained.

Debbie sighed, "So this is all Michael's idea?" She raised an eyebrow at me.

My eyes widened, "What? N-No! Well.. Yes... But we've talked about it, Debbie. I've explained to him what could happen, he's prepared! He has faith that our next child won't have HIV!" I said.

"We aren't going to conceive a child... Naturally... Just to be safe." I carefully said.

Debbie glared at me, "So you're talking about artificial insemination?" Debbie questioned me.

I slowly nodded, "Y-Yes.. But with Micha-"

"I know what you mean..." Debbie sighed.

"Mia.." Debbie sighed again loudly, putting her supplies away.

"It's a risk, you know. Anything can happen. With HIV, you have a risk of having a premature baby. Do you really want to risk that for you and your baby again?" Debbie questioned.

I glared at her, "Debbie, you aren't going to guilt-trip me into this one. Michael has convinced me and you know what? I do want more children... Please." I begged.

Debbie sighed, "Are you absolutely sure?" She checked with me.

I nodded, "Of course!" I smiled, feeling hopeful.

Debbie frowned, "Okay, okay.."

I gasped, "Thank you!" I smiled widely, hugging her.

"But!" Debbie said, gently pushing me off of her.

"It isn't as simple as you think, it takes a few weeks. I'll schedule you for a doctors appointment within this week, okay?" She asked.

I nodded. "Thank you." I smiled.

Debbie weakly smiled, "Of course. If you need anything or something happens then you call me." She smiled, picking her bag up.

"Take care, Mia." She said with sincere as she exited the room.

I clapped my hands together as I ran out of the bedroom.

"Michael!" I called out, running towards Rose's room.

The air past me as I stopped quickly, looking into Rose's room.

I smiled, seeing Michael read a book to Rose on the ground.

Michael stopped as he turned to me, smiling at me.

Michael handed Rose a toy as he got up from the ground.

"What did Debbie say?" He asked, holding onto my hands.

I grinned widely, "She said I can do it! She-She gave us permission!" I chirped.

Michael gasped, "Oh my gosh!" He smiled widely, picking me up.

"Oh, Mia! We're going to be parents again!" He cheered.

I giggled, "If it works, babe. Debbie is scheduling an appointment for sometime this week." I explained.

Michael kissed my lips, "I'm sure we'll get there, Mia. We always do." He smiled widely.

"Oh gosh, we're going to be parents!!" He cheered again, jumping up and down.

I giggled. Only if it works.

But sure.

We're going to be parents again.
