Mel's Pov: I can't believe I have a date with Cael!! I'm so happy!! I get home and run inside. I see my mom and dad home. I have a date with Cael tonight I say. That is wonderful says my mom. Yeah I say. Where is he taking you says my dad. He didn't say I say. My dad nods and my mom says that's okay. Just wear some nice jeans and a nice top, curl your hair or something and some purfume your be good says my mom.
Okay thank you I say. Your welcome says my mom. I walk up the stairs and go in the kitchen. I open the fridge and I hear my dad say I don't like this. The boy hasn't even came over for dinner and we don't even know him. You can't control her life, just because a boy doesn't come over here, did you think she is probably scared to have him come over after what happened between him and Zayden says my mom.
I walk to the stairs and say will you 2 drop it. Dad mom is right. I don't want to bring him over here. Zayden hurt him and I'm scared that would happen again I say and walk to my room. I close the door and sit on my bed. I shake my head and think why do my parents have to disagree with that. My mom got the hint and my dad sure didn't. I look at my phone and it was 3:30. Fuck it let's take a nap. I will get up at 5:30 and I set an alarm.

I hear my alarm go off and I get up. I grab some shorts and a shirt. I walk to the bathroom and turn on the water. I hop in and wash my hair and wash my body. I turn the water off and hop out. I dry myself off and put on the shorts and a shirt. I walk to my room and go to my closet. I hear a knock and I turn my head. I see it's my mom and she comes in. I really want to meet this Cael boy says my mom.
Yeah, what did dad say I say. Dad just ignored the idea says my mom. She goes through my closet she picks green jeans and a white shirt with a heart on it and underneath the heart it says love. Try that and I have some earring to go with that says my mom as she walks out and closes the door. I hurry and change into the outfit. I look in the mirror and think good job mom. I smile and hear a knock on the door.
Come in I say. My mom smiles and says you look beautiful. Thank you I say. My mom comes back and hands me a pair of black triangle earrings. You can have them, I can't wear them says my mom. Thank you I say and hug her. Your Welcome says my mom and hugs me back. I pull away and put them in. My mom smiles and says ugh I can't believe this is happening. Yeah I say. Well I will let you finish getting ready says my mom.
She leaves and I grab my phone charger and phone. I walk to the bathroom and close the door. I plug my phone in and plug in the curling iron. I look at my phone and it is 6:15.
Cael's Pov: I change into black jeans and a black shirt. I put on black shoes and think this is a little to much black specially for me. I go through my closet and pick out a black and white flannel. I do my hair and grab my phone off the charger. I jog down the stairs and think I have the gift in the truck. I have the food in there as well. My dad looks at me and says tell me you aren't going all goth. We laugh and I say no only tonight.
My dad nods and says have fun, be safe, time I'm not worried about. Okay I say. I start to walk towards the stairs and my dad says cael you need these. I turn around and my dad throws me the truck keys and says I filled the truck up so your good. Thank you I say. Your welcome says my dad. I walk down the stairs and walk out the door. I hop in the truck and drive to Mels.
