Redemption Is Temptation
Without light, there are no shadows
Without happiness, there are no sorrows
We are the wingless; the angels that have fallen
Down the dark abyss of temptation and sin
There is the slight chance of sweet, sweet redemption
But there is also the everlasting pull of temptation
The hypnotizing, tantalizing lull of temptation
Pulls us deep, deep inside the core of shadows
Far, far out of reach of redemption
Leading us to the very center of our sorrows
But this life, a life of irresistible sin
Has made us what we are: the Fallen
We are the feared; so far have we fallen
Far, far into the throes of temptation
Loving this madness, our one and only sin
Has earned us a home, sweet home, with shadows
A place where we can nurture our sorrows
Hoping, forever hoping, for our chance at redemption
Oh lovely, agonizingly lovely, redemption
Is it too late for us, the Fallen?
How do we leave behind our sorrows?
How do we break free from the chains of temptation?
How do we bring light to the shadows
after living so long with sin?
Irresistible, beautiful, unforgettable sin
How can we leave you behind for redemption?
Sunlight burns; we will be safe in shadows
We cannot fight, so far have we fallen
Ropes and chains, pull us back to temptation
Bury our fears, bury our sorrows
Forget the past, the place of our sorrows
Forget the past, our time of sin
Forget the past, when we fell to temptation
Forget the past, to earn our redemption
Forget the past, we are the Fallen
Forget the past, the time of our shadows
We are the Fallen; our sorrows are our sins
We are the Fallen; we will fall back into temptation
We are the Fallen; we fell, we fall, we will fall into the shadows
