Chapter 5: Spirit Forest

"Spirit Forest" It is suggested that there are spirits living in there, spirits of dead monsters, dead animals, and probably spirits of dead adventurers. It is also the home of forest spirits.

The outer part of the forest is where animals and low level monsters live, the middle part is where mid level monsters and high level monsters, and the deepest part is where rare animals and a boss like monster lives, many has seen it but never got a chance to fight because the boss monster is said to be a high level spirit, a spirit of a great wizard or something.

Walking about 2 hours, i arrived at the outer part of the forest.

[Why is it so far? im tired already.]

I look at the forest.

[So this is the Spirit Forest, hmmm it's so refreshing here]

The air is fresh. you can hear the leaves on the trees rustling, birds chirping, unlike on Earth, its so loud because of cars and a lot of pollution, at least here it's not that polluted.

[Yosh now let's begin!]

I intentionally ran in the forest because of excitement, who knew that one day i'll become an adventurer! 

[Now let's search, Red-eye rabbits, where are you~]

While searching i activated [Navigation] with this i can clearly navigate inside the forest.

[There you are, hehe come here!]

Because of my excitement i kicked the ground, i arrived at the rabbits location. The rabbit has red eyes, gray fur and a gold colored little tail. Cute.

I kicked the rabbit and it crashed in a tree, surprisingly it died before feeling pain.

[That's one huh] I murmured

While picking up i saw a herd of red eyed rabbits just ahead of me.

[Oh there they are, yosh lets try using my sword for a while]

I pulled my sword [Sword of the Demon Lord] an event item, and an SSS rank item

[Let's try!]

I felt my magic power circulating my body, and i put directed it in my right hand where i'm holding the sword, then the sword shines, a green colored shine.

[Take this! Arc Slash!]

I swing my sword to the rabbits and the rabbits was startled, when they saw a green colored slash towards them.

[Arc Slash] a one-handed sword skill, it directs the magic power in your sword and shines a color green light, it's a wind attribute sword skill.

There are corresponding colors when it comes in sword skills, Red for Fire Attribute, Blue for Water Attribute, Green for Wind Attribute, Brown for Earth Attribute, Yellow for Light Attribute, then Violet for Dark attribute. You can combine Element Attributes to produce different Element attributes, for example when you combine the Fire and Wind attribute in one sword, then a swirling Fire will envelope the sword, its called Flame Tornado skill.

[Hah!]

I unintentionally let out a battle cry even though im only battling rabbits, its one sided though. And when the Slash hits the rabbits all of them where slashed in half.

[Oh crap, i go too far?]

Looking at the blood scene of the rabbits i bitterly smile 'cause i went to far.

[Now that's finished lets collect them]

The request was 5 red eyed rabbits, but i killed more than 30 rabbits in one slash. I stored them in my [Infinite Storage]

[Damn i'm that strong? Let's take a break first before going.]

I got out of the forest and sat in the nearby tree shade, the wind was blowing through my face, the smell of Grass and Earth, the rustling sound of the tree leaves, the birds chirping, 

[Haaaaah, i wanna sleep here for a while]

While saying that i dropped my eyelids and my drowsiness was strongly pulling me to sleep. Without noticing i slept under the tree shade.

After a while i woke up, the sky is red and the sun is gonna sleep too.

[Ha its gonna be night time soon.] i stand up and stretched my arms

[That's some good sleep now let's go] Before going i notice a gaze inside the forest.

[Huh what the?] when i surveyed my surroundings i saw a bunch of green eyes, there's still light coming from the drowning sun, she has blond hair, long ears,  a body of a girl in her 16s or 18s i can't really tell because i'm far away. I accidentally appraised her

When i looked closely she vanished, wait where this she go?

[Hey! Where are you!] i unintentionally shouted

[Mah, a beautiful elf, though she left, i guess i'm gonna go back to town, it's beginning to get dark.]

I walk back to the dirt road, though i prefer to ride on a carriage, but i'm broke, the first problem i got after coming to this world, money.

But, i'm gonna do my best to get rich! Hahaha

I laughed in my mind while walking down to the road.

Side Story

[Who's that guy? What power, i can sense limitless energy from him and the forest spirits gather around him, it's simply beautiful]

While remembering the face of the man under the shade of the tree, i was thinking of meeting that man.

[Im interested in him hehe~] while giggling cutely i came home inside the forest.

After coming inside the king and queen greeted me

[Oh leena, welome back, you seem happy dear?] mom asked

[I just met a man who has a strong power and the forest spirits gather around him it was simply beautiful] while giggling, mom stares at me

[Ho, you seem interested in him?] while grinning

[Yes, i wanna know about his power and know him~]

[Are you perhaps inlove with the guy] said mom while grinning

When i heard that my face became hot

[W-what are y-you saying mom!, im going to my room!] i said before running

[Love huh? It is love at first sight? I wonder?...] while thinking my face became hot again.

[Goddamnit! Whoever you are, you're the cause of this!!!] while cursing at that man I reached my room and buried my face on my bed.
