A lost soul in the night
Wandering, cautiously
Darkness envelop's
The body goes stiff
Mind so still
Heart beat faded
Breathing unnoticeable
Nowhere to turn to
The monsters are coming
No movement, no sound
Just a sense that they are near
Hopes of a light, dashed
All dreams abandoned
Each moment in the dark
A nightmare, in it's own way
What once was a dream
Is now a real, they are closer
Each second the heart pumps faster
Pumping harder, flooding with fear
Noises begin,
Crack,
Snap,
Crunch,
Tears rain down, reality sinks inside
Life as we know it, is coming to a close
The sounds echo in the dense wooded area,
The monster's are behind you,
Heart pounding
Eyes watering
Lungs seem to shrink
They see you
You see their judgemental looks
The blood pumps and rushes
Everything goes black
It's too late
They have you
