Pasts Blood Shed Chapter 9

Encre's P.O.V

I carried the book at my side as I stride to Fallacy's room. I was sure he would be in there, probably resting. The book slightly dug into my side but I didn't care, I had to make sure I didn't drop it. The picture of the individuals had left me curious. I had to know. 

I stood outside Fallacy's door and raised my right hand knocking on the wood frame. For a few seconds I didn't hear anything, but soon after I heard the shuffle of feet and a few annoyed groans. I couldn't help my small smile. Fallacy can act so childish sometimes.

The door opened swiftly to reveal a droop eyed Vampire, "What is it Encre?" he said with a yawn.

I shoved the book into his arms, "I marked the page."

His eyes shown with confusion and so he took a look at the book before actually opening it to the page I had marked. Once he caught a glimpse of the pictures his whole body froze.

"Fallacy?" I questioned, "What is it?"

His eyes wandered from the picture and back to me, "Where did you find this?"

"In the library. Where else?" I gave him a puzzled look.

Fallacy went and sat down on his bed, "This all makes sense now.." he began, "How did I not see it before?"

"What? What are you talking about Fallacy?" 

Fallacy hesitated before answering my question, "Encre...I know what happened to your parents..."

Now it was my turn to freeze...I felt my blood run cold as I was rendered speechless...

He sighed, and looked at me unsure, "I don't know if you'd want to hear your story...it's very sad.."

I shook my head, "Please tell me Fallacy."

He nodded before clearing his throat, "I was young when it all happened, but I wasn't the one in control. I had a rouge who plotted against a kingdom strong with both power and wealth. The rouge plotted against the strong kingdom behind my back in hopes of gaining what could never be theirs. Soon my men was persuaded a spot in the traitors wicked scheme. A couple months later a war broke loose between my kingdom and theirs." He stopped to take a breath, "I lost many men that day but the other kingdom lost hundreds. Both the queen and King fought to protect their daughter who was only a small infant at the time. The rouge told fellow vampires to take the children, that they would be raised as their servants or be changed into one of them...the little princess would be the new queen...a turned vampire when she reached the eighteen...to become a king you must marry into royal blood. It has been told that the royal blood of a girl is sweet, rare, and delicious."

He looked directly at me, "A blood like yours Encre." His hand went behind his head as he continued to explain to me, "The mother of the girl was attacked by one of my men and died a few minutes after the father reached the two. The mother dead, the father was determined to save his daughter. So he escaped through a window and into a current. He was able to throw his child ashore but he couldn't lift himself up out of the water and the locals found him in one of there fish traps. The young daughter's brother was in the town to look for something of interest when he heard the news of his family and the terrible tragedy. He rushed, but instead heard the sounds of an infants cry.." Fallacy's eyes shown with sorrow, "And found his dear sister freezing besides a rushing river. He was grateful that he wasn't alone and should have been crowned the new king, but someone killed him in his sleep in attempt to steal the crown as a fraud."

I felt my eyes tear up as tears began to fall, "Who killed him?"

Fallacy appeared hurt seeing me like this, "His name....was Asgore."
