Chapter 5

They had a field trip today. They were going to watch "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare.

Baekhyun was already at his desk looking over a packet that translated "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in to modern day English.

Of course he knew what it was about already because they researched about Shakespeare and even act out a scene from "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

Baekhyun being the smart student he is was just re-reading for fun, admiring Shakespeare's work.

I wonder how the actors from the theatre will interpret Shakespeare's work. I hope it's good after all we will be siting and watching them for 2 hours.

"Alright class, use this time to use the bathroom or do anything you need to." Announced the teacher.

Beside Baekhyun laid other of Shakespeare's work along with Edgar Allen Poe.

They had just finish their Edgar Allen Poe unit.

Baekhyun was in the midst of comparing the two geniuses and their works in his head when he heard a deep voice in the hallway talking with another person.

It's Chanyeol and Chen. He's here.

Baekhyun went back to comparing them because he knew that Chanyeol will make his way over to him.

Almost like on cue Chanyeol walks in with Chen. Chanyeol made his way toward Baekhyun.

The empty chair beside him slide back and Chanyeol sat beside him.

Baekhyun didn't even need to look up to know who it was. He smiled still looking over Shakespeare's work.

" Good morning Baekhyun " said Chanyeol

" Morning Yeol. Finally you're here. I was starting to think that you skipped today. And I was going to kill you the next day if you didn't come. Luckily you did." joked Baekhyun.

Chanyeol laughed.

" Why did you think that? i wouldn't abandon you like that. And plus i know you wouldn't survive today plus the two hours of the play without me."

"Ya!" Baekhyun pushed Chanyeol with his shoulder.

" Did you eat breakfast yet?" Ask Chanyeol.

"Yeah, I did at home. Why are you hungry? Wanna go grab breakfast in the lunchroom?"

"Nah. It's okay I was just asking. And I'm not really hungry."

"Are you sure? The play is really long and you won't have anything to eat till lunch." Said Baekhyun concerned.

"Yeah I'm sure. Oh and.."

Chanyeol leaned in closer to Baekhyun changing his voice to a whisper so other wouldn't hear them.

Chanyeol leaning in to Baekhyun's ears wasn't a big deal to both of them. They both did it all the time.

Nope nothing. Good, I'm not feeling any feelings at all. A good sign.

" I really like Jongin. We texted each other and stuff but he stopped texting me and I don't know why. "

Suddenly Jongin walked in with Kyungsoo behind him. They sat on the opposite side of the class. They were talking with Lay and Tao.

Chanyeol sighed.

Still whispering Chanyeol continued
"Look at them. They're so close- omg Baekhyun I'm so mad. That should be me. Not Kyungsoo. It's about time I had a chance. They don't even match."
