“Just good I can't get any detail?” he questions
“I'm in a health stable relationship, his name is Elijah, he has a four old daughter named Alexis”
“And how's he supporting y'all?”
“I still have a career and he's in school”
“For what?”
“Medicine he's gonna become a pediatrician”
“Nice, what's up with his baby mama?”
“She's gone” I say
“Good, no baby mama drama”
“Yup” I say “So where am I taking you exactly?”
“Trump Hotel” he says
“I'm sorry about Nicki, have you talk to her since?”
"No and I don't want to talk to her...we took vows in front of our friends, family, and God she broke them I don't know if we can work through this"
“You never know unless you try”
He sighs “I'll think about it”
“It's good to hear your doing good” he says as I stop the car
I nod my head at this awkwardness
“Thanks, for everything, Asiah” he says getting out
“Your welcome Aubrey”
“I hope Elijah keep treatin' you right”
“He will” I say smiling
“Bye” he closes my car door
I wave at him then I drive off.
*Drake's POV*
I get out of Asiah's car I walk into the Trump Hotel
The woman behind the desk was cute she remind me of Nicki big bright eyes, colorful hair, and huge grin on her face “Hello Sir, how can I help you tonight?”
“I can get the penthouse suite for the next two weeks”
“Sure can sir and how will you be paying for that?”
“With this” I say taking out my custom made wallet and placing my black card on the marble counter I slid it over to the woman
“Thank you, Mr. Graham” she says looking at my black card she slides in the machine then gives it back to me
“No bags, Mr. Graham?”
“Not yet Maple” I say reading her name tag
“Just call down if you need anything”
“Got a time machine?” I ask
She giggles “Sorry, don't have one of those”
“Okay, then I'll see you around” I say
I walk over to the elevator I dig my phone out of my pocket and turn it back on instantly my phone tells me that my voicemail and messages are full. I already know their all from Nicki I just delete them I don't want to hear or even think about that woman right now.
*Chris' POV*
“Chris?”
“What's up Devon?”
“I need some girl advice”
“Oh, yeah, tell me what's gonna on buddy?”
Devon looks around then sits next to me “There's this girl her name is Sabrina and she's the most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on but she's dating Matthew, the biggest douche-bag at my school”
“So what's this Matthew kid got that you don't got?”
“Athleticism” Devon answers looking down
“Aye, man look at me”
He lifts his head up and looks at me
“Your got some talents too, like you can dance like it's nobody business and you can skate, skating boarding is more challenging then whatever Matthew can do”
“You really think so?”
“Yeah, you've just got to be yourself around Sabrina and she'll dump what's his face and be yours”
“And how many I suppose to show her all that?”
“Do you have any classes together?”
“Yeah, english, history, and science”
“Talk to her get to know her maybe invited her over to do homework”
“Alright, thanks Chris”
“No problem, man”
Devon jumps up from the couch and runs off
“Hey” Lauren says walking over to me
“Hey” I say smiling
“I saw that”
“Saw what?”
“You and Devon”
“What about us?”
“You gave him advice about girls like a dad does with a son”
“I don't wanna to toot my own horn but I'm great dad to Devon and Jordin, don't you agree?”
“I guess” she says sitting on my lap
“You guess, girl you better recognize I'm a great father figure”
“Maybe you are” she says wrapping her arms around my neck
“Just admit it, Lauren, that I'm the greatest”
She laughs after her laughter dies down she presses her lips against mine I put my hands on her waist pulling her closer to me.
*Asiah's POV *
“Elijah” I whisper
“Yes” he whispers back
I smile I walk into the living room I sit right next to Elijah “Didn't I tell you to go to sleep” I say
“Yeah, but you know I can't sleep without you by my side” he says
“I know” I kiss his cheek
“Do what happen with Aubrey?”
“I dropped him off at a hotel I told him he should work it out with his wife”
“His wife?”
“Let me explain, Aubrey is married and he found his wife, Nicki cheating on him with Kevin and got Kevin's in a hospital and Aubrey was in jail so I bailed him out”
“Damn, girl, I should've known you've had a crazy ass friends” he says laughing
“Yeah, you should've” I say cuddling up to him
“Tired?”
“Very”
Elijah kisses my forehead “Night”
