*Asiah's POV *
“Hello” I say
“Hey" Asiah”
“Aubrey?” I ask
Elijah gives me a weird look like 'Who's that?'
I put my hand over the mouth piece “He's my ex” I say
He shifts next to me on the couch he puts his arm around my shoulder
“Why are you in jail?”
“I found Nicki cheating on me with Kevin”
“McCall?” I ask
“Yeah, I bet his ass really bad he's up in a hospital bed somewhere”
“Aubrey, I'm sorry to hear that”
“Its karma”
“I guess so”
“I know we've moved on with you life but can you--”
I interrupt him “You'll always be one of my closest friends, I'll be there in about ten minutes”
“Thanks Asiah”
“No problem” I say
I hang up my phone
“So you gonna go bail him out?” Elijah asks
“Yeah, unless your uncomfortably with that”
“No” he says
“Do you wanna come with me?” I ask
“No, I'll just start unpacking boxes”
“It's late”
“Yeah, it is”
I nuzzle him chest “Go to sleep and I promise I'll be back soon”
“Okay” I get out his embrace
“Love you” I say pecking his forehead
“Love you, too” he says

“Who you here for?” the man in the police uniform asks
“Aubrey Graham”
“To visit or bail out?”
“Bail out”
“15,000”
“Okay” I say giving the police officer the money
“Thank you, he'll be out shortly”
I sit on in a chair near the desk its cold and hard
A buzzing sound catches my attention I look and see Aubrey in handcuffs being escorted by a female police officer the gate opens and Aubrey is standing less then five feet away from me both police officers unchain Aubrey.
The male officer gives him back all his personal belongs “Your free to go” he says
I exhale sharply I begin walking out of the police station I can hear Aubrey's footsteps behind me
Its not until we get into my car that he finally said something
“How's life?” he asks
“Good”
