Chapter 20 - Worst Rescue Mission

This chapter is really short so I'm sorry guys!

All of my chapters are usually over 1000 words but I promise the next chapter will be, probably lol.

And that's why I'm writing this to make it seem longer XD

Two days later of being canceled from house arrest which Katsuki was able to soon join me and the rest of the classes after a day of my house arrest was completed.

Today was near the final days of adventuring and training in this hi-tech camp, and today we were going to experience a kidnap and rescue mission with none other than Thirteen herself.

In a group of three, each was given the role of either being, the rescuer, the kidnapper, and the hostage.

I landed on the hand of being the hostage, as my rescuer was Mineta and my kidnapper was Katsuki.

I was currently tied down to a chair, ropes tightened around my stomach area and ropes also handcuffed around my wrists and ankles.

My instructions were to use no effort in escaping and let the rescuer handle everything and fight with the kidnapper before escaping with the hostage.

I'm not aware of what Mineta is capable of so I guess I'll be expecting a surprise rescue.

I watched Katsuki pacing around in the room where I was locked in, frustrated as always for utterly no reason again.

I slightly raised an eyebrow at his small tantrum before asking, "Why are you so pissed?"

He didn't stop pacing back and forward but replied with, "What's taking him so fucking long?"

I rolled my eyes and relaxed my shoulder. "Probably preparation."

"He should've done that a long time ago," Katsuki muttered underneath his heated breath and infuriate voice.

I realized that I was going out of character so I decided to speak no more and continue waiting to be rescued even though it was getting quite boring.

I guess if this was an unexpected scenario, the hostage would be traumatized.

Several more minutes of patiently waiting for my 'hero's' arrival was getting ridiculous.

My head hung down to the side while my eyelids stayed shut, enduring the boredom and the aching what came along with it for sitting in this uncomfortable position.

I suddenly then heard the sound of footsteps, sprinting across the hallway that was outside the door of the room I was in.

I sighed in relief knowing that my rescuer had finally come to extricate me.

My eyelids shot open as my head lifted back up as I looked straight ahead with focus in front of me, to only see that Katsuki was already prepared to battle the approaching hero.

I narrowed my eyes towards him for a second before narrowing them back towards the door.

The sprinting was getting closer and closer to the point where I could feel the floor vibrating beneath my feet.

I was prepared too for the impact that was about to happen.

The sprinting came to a sudden halt before out of nowhere, the doors slammed open with great force to reveal the tiny Mineta standing heroically with his arms spread wide open from the dramatic entrance.

"Don't worry, 100 Blade!! Your extremely handsome hero has found his confidence to finally rescue you!! Once we get out of here, I'll be sure to give you all of the 'special' treatments you need from yours truly, Grape Ju--!"

"DIE MIDGET!!" With one single explosion, Mineta was sent flying through the roof, leaving me jaws dropped and usually dazed as I froze at the scene for a few seconds or so.

'All that heroic talk for nothing?!' I thought to myself.

And then Thirteen came on the announcer.
"Unfortunately, 100 Blade was not able to be rescued by her hero! Resulting in the kidnapper winning the fight and keeping the hostage! The operators will come in and guide you out to prepare for the next scene."

And I was left completely disappointed for experiencing the worst rescue mission ever.
