I was sent to bed early right after the spa session and dinner. Even though I hated getting everything shaved and plucked I had to admit that I felt really smooth and free.

I couldn't fall asleep just yet so I decided to finish up the book I was reading earlier. It was a fantastic story about time travel.

Just before I finished the last page there was a knock on my door. "Come in."

Blaise slowly opened the door and peeked in. "Good. You're still awake. May I sit?"

I closed my book and patted the bed. He seemed a little flustered at my gesture and turned the chair around for the vanity instead. His hair was down and he had new glasses on. "Hey, nice new glasses! Can you see better?"

He adjusted them and gave me a small smile. "Oh yeah. It's a lot easier reading and recognizing faces now."

"That's good. Sorry we weren't able to pick up new ones for a long time."

"Don't worry about it. It wasn't out top priority. Anyways, I wanted to ask you about the trip. According to my calculations there's a storm approaching soon. Tomorrow should be clear for the wedding but the day after it's going to start drizzling. It's just going to get worse over the days until it passes. What are we going to do?" He informed.

That was a really good question. I was lucky to have someone as smart as Blaise on the team. I would've led everyone into a storm out on sea. "Bottom line is that we can't stay here. We have to leave. We can travel by horse all day while it's only a drizzle and then next day we do the same thing."

"Won't that tire out the horses?"

"It's our only option. By the time we get to the sea the storm will be aggressive. From there we can decide to wait it out or go under water. I'll have to talk to Aries about it." I thought.

Blaise didn't look so sure. He held his chin in thought. I touched his shoulder. "It's going to work out. Things have always worked out. Let's just enjoy the wedding tomorrow."

He nodded and sighed. "Okay. I'm just worried that someone will get hurt. We got too close for comfort many times."

I couldn't argue with that. Blaise noticed the book beside me and picked it up. "Time travel, huh?"

"I picked it up while I was recovering. The story is really interesting and the characters are remarkable. They talk about how someday there might be new technologies and inventions that would make it easier for people to grow food. Do you think that'll actually happen?" I questioned.

Blaise chuckled. "Of course. Things change all the time and everyone is looking for ways to improve everyone's lives. It's only a matter of time."

"I guess that's true. What other stuff do you think will happen in the future?"

"Well the first thing that'll happen is that we'll make it to your kingdom safely and soundly. There will probably be a huge wedding to celebrate and then everyone will move on. I haven't found any clues to finding my father yet but I don't think it's such a big deal. I realized that I'm actually capable of handling a lot of things. I will probably continue to guide my kingdom and study until my coronation." He explained.

I put my head on my knees. "Aw. You don't want to travel some more afterwards?"

"I think I'll be taking a break from long travels but thank you." He laughed.

"But you never know. Maybe you'll wake up one morning and decided to go out on an adventure. Besides, we don't know if Princess Ava will pick you. Is there something in the future that's guaranteed to happen?"
