I kept distance from the other princes during the day. When dinner came around I was usually busy trying to prepare and practice for the next day's lesson. Most of the soldiers now had the ability to split bricks with their bare hands and balance on bamboo poles. Not only were they improving but I was too.

Who knew that fireworks proved to be a powerful weapon?

Anyways, everyone was very busy, especially because we were going to start heading to the battle directly. I helped prepared carts as best I could and rested when necessary. Every thing was going smoothly. My mind only focused on the upcoming battle.

Once all the soldiers were packed and trained we all began to get on the road. The road was also leading us on a route back home so it was convenient. I walked beside my cart in my new armor, listening to the men chat to pass the time. The princes were also talking with the men but made sure to stick closer together near me.

"Hey, Rion." Mun-Wah slowed his pace down to match mine. "I just wanted to say thank you for all your help. You and your men really helped boost us all up, so I just want to properly show my gratitude."

I gave him a playful punch. "No need. We were happy to help and it was a learning experience for all of us! We are honored to walk into battle with you."

He cleared his throat. "Um, yeah. Thanks again."

I was about to say something when I was distracted by loud laughter from the front. The men turned around towards us. "So how about you, General?"

"What about me?" He stood up straighter.

They rolled their eyes. "What kind of girl you into? The kind of girl you would want to return to after this is all over? A girl worth fighting for, who is she?"

I stifled my giggles as Mun-Wah became flustered, scrambling for an answer. "T-This isn't the time to think about women right now."

The men didn't listen to him but instead just laughed. "Cinder! Tianos! Get over here! The rest of you boys gather around too."

The other princes left their spots to catch up with the group. This was going to be a disaster. I could feel it in my bones. "What kind of girl you like? I like the types who can cook! What wouldn't I give to return to a woman with a grand feast for me filled with all my favorite foods."

The boys were hesitant to admit their desired qualities and listened to the other men talk about their interests. "I want a girl that doesn't mind if I have dragon tattoos. Most women are scared of them but I can be a sweet guy!"

"Yeah! A girl that doesn't mind my tattoos or scars. It's not my fault that I like to get into mischief."

"I think I prefer the quiet types. Not because I don't want to hear them talk but because then our love wouldn't have to be expressed through words. We just simply know and I think that's good enough for me."

I was surprised that most of them were actually total softies. It was nice to listen to the men talk about love and their hopes.

"I want a girl that's a good dancer." Tianos finally spoke up. Everyone's attention turned to him. "We would be able to dance with or without music. I also want her to be filled with little surprises. Makes life a bit more exciting and appreciated the little things. She also has to be a hard worker that motivates me too when I'm feeling low."

I didn't actually think Tianos wasn't the type to think about love much. I always assumed that he just wanted to have fun and work on his dreams of owning a restaurant.

Jasem hummed in response. "Even though I'm not that interested in marriage at this moment I would still love to be with a girl that's adventurous. Someone that knows how to have fun no matter where she is."
