Genji

Though trained under a monk who prioritizes peace, Genji found it rather hard to be peaceful whenever he heard you were injured. It was an instinct for him to want to protect the things he loved and hearing that he couldn't protect you broke his heart.

Usually, if he was unable to prevent an injury from befalling you, he would write handwritten apology letters, typically promising to do better next time. The letters were always accompanied with flowers or chocolates and a rather sad looking Genji himself. It was cute that he always wanted to do his best to protect you, even if he got a little sad when he couldn't.

He would often try to play it off like it was your own fault you got hurt. You weren't paying enough attention to the fight or maybe you should've just been more careful. As heartless as that seems, you knew that it was just a front for the way he really felt when you got hurt.

It made him sad. Genuinely sad. But he refused to admit it because his clan taught him that any emotion was a sign of weakness. He would sit by your side if you were injured, holding your hand so long as no one else was in the room and telling you stories if the pain was so bad you couldn't sleep. You knew he truly cared, despite all the rude remarks.

Junkrat

The Aussie typically threatened to "blow up the blokes who dared laid a finger on my Sheila" but you knew that it was always an empty threat. The thought that he would try to kill someone else just for inflicting pain upon you was actually endearing, in its own twisted way, but endearing all the same. He kept you company through your recovery, telling you odd jokes and stories from his days on the run with Roadhog.

He also forced you to watch a lot of weird Australian television shows and documentaries that he found funny or just plain interesting. Since you were usually immobilized after an injury, you had no choice but to accept your fate and watch whatever he could find.

Lucio

Surprisingly, the musician was a lot calmer about you being hurt than you would've imagined him to be. Sure, he was upset that you were in pain because he never wanted to see you in any kind of pain, but you were alive and that was all that mattered.

He often played music for you during your recovery, claiming that he had read online that music can somehow help aid physical recovery. It sounded like a load of crap to you but you didn't bother questioning it and just decided to focus on how sweet it was that he was trying to help you get well sooner.

McCree

The cowboy was not one to take an injury lightly. He often treated you like a priceless jewel and the fact that the jewel had been scuffed sent him into a fit of rage like nothing else. It was typical of him to yell at the doctor who was treating you, saying things like "she's still in pain! Give her more medicine or I'll shove my fist where the sun don't shine" or "the hell do you mean you think her arm is broken? You're the damn doctor!" It was almost embarrassing for you, but at the same time you knew he was just stressed out for your safety.

He loved you dearly and watching someone you love get hurt is one of the most painful experiences in life. He would sit by your side, day and night, while muttering small curse about the doctors not doing their jobs right.

Reaper

Gabriel hated the thought of you being hurt almost as much as he hated Omnics. You were his princess and he would kill anything that harmed you. Literally.

At first when he told you he would kill the muggers who jumped you on your way home from the Blackwatch base, you thought he was joking. But then as more and more of the people who had harmed you turned up dead on the news, you knew that the man you loved had been taking care of everyone who had ever harmed you.

It was sweet, in just about the most twisted sense possible. He loved you and was willing to kill to protect you. However, he would rarely visit you when you were actually in the clinic, claiming that hospitals "just aren't my thing" and then stopping by here and there to drop off stuffed animals and flowers.

Reinhardt

The large German man was always by your side in a flash the second he found out you'd been hurt. It was like he had a sensor for knowing when you were injured. He would stay by your side all day and all night, rarely sleeping or eating without you talking him into it and convincing him it was okay and that you'd be fine.

He would give you a lot of affectionate hugs and kisses, willing them to fix your injuries despite knowing that wouldn't actually work. He would also always try to make you laugh, firmly stating every time that a laugh is the start of the healing process.

Jack was a busy man, with a lot of work constantly on his plate. He didn't have the free time to sit by your side while you were recovering in the hospital. But he always made sure to send Angela or Jesse down in his place with flowers or stuffed animals.

You didn't know it, but every night after his work was finished he would come to your room and sit by your side while you slept, keeping watch over you and making sure that you were doing alright. He often ended up taking naps in the uncomfortable hospital chairs by your bed, but it was well worth it to make sure that nothing bad would happen to you during your recovery.
