(Jaune's POV)
At the Diner called "Celé's Diner"
I sit outside of the restaurant, waiting for Nora, Ren, and Ruby.
Now that I think about it..I invited Nora and Ren who are a couple, but me and Ruby are single.. Oh god.. I hope she doesn't think this is a date! What did I do? Oh no, no, no, no, no!
"Hey Jaune!" I hear. I look up and see Nora holding Ren's hand while smiling. Ren is wearing his usual school outfit while Nora is wearing a short pink dress with orange flats.
"Oh- Hey guys!" I stand up quickly and fake a smile to hide my embarrassment.
"What's wrong?" Ren asks.
"Oh, nothing, just-just thinking about..life," I lie.
"Look man, I understand its a hard time right now. I get it, but please think positive," he says, leaning over to my shoulder and patting it.
"Thanks man," I reply.
"Uh- guys, What about Ruby?" Nora mentions.
"Oh! Uhm,"
My phone buzzes. I turn it on and notice I have a new message. I tap on it and its Ruby.
"She just texted me! She said "I'll be there in a sec, Yang is driving me here on her motorcycle so look out for us"" I say.
"Should we go in and order a table?" Nora asks.
"You two do that, I'll wait for Ruby," I answer.
"Okay! We'll see you in a bit!" Nora says and then walks in the restaurant holding Ren's hand.
I sit back down on the wooden bench and relax. I decided to just wear my black hoodie with the bunny logo on it. I didn't care if people judged me. I also just wore blue jeans and my regular sneakers.
I sit and wait for Ruby to arrive..
