My leg goes up and down. I glance at my ph- I close my eyes and pat my pockets. Has my phone really been missing for two days? I run a hand through my hair and look up at the ceiling of the airport. "You're flight is coming at six, what you gonna do 'bout it?" Maggie asks, approaching with some McDonalds.

"The fuck? You went to get McDonalds and didn't consider my feelings?"

"There's McDonalds at Dunedin. Don't act like there's nothing there." Maggie scoffs, taking a bite out of her burger. Lillian zooms past Maggie and into my arms. I hug her tightly and she sobs, I just pat her head gently. Crystal walks closer with a phone in hand.

"That mine?" I point, she looks at where I'm pointing.

"No, it's mine." Crystal says with a 'duh' look. I frown and glance at the window. "Anything to say?" Crystal raises an eyebrow which I reply with a shrug.

"I dunno where my phone is."

"I meant before you leave, Auckland." Crystal gives me a flat look.

"Is my phone still in Auckland?" Maggie holds her laughter but snorts. Crystal rubs the bridge of her nose.

"I hope the school down there will have some consideration. Maybe, you'll learn there." Crystal rolls her eyes. From a distance, I can see a guy running. He looks familiar, where have I seen him? My eyes widen and I realise, it's my half brother. Weston!

He pants as he leans on his knees. He looks up and stares at Maggie. "Maggie, aren't you supposed to be in Napier?" He manages to say. How do these two know each other? How long have they known each other? Was I the only one in the house who didn't know about Weston?

"No, aren't you supposed to be in jail?"

"You racist asshole."

"Don't call me racist, you called me white. I'm light skinned Maori."

"Whatever." Weston rolls his eyes. Weston smiles at me and Lillian looks up at Weston. He reaches for her hair and messily ruffles it. Lillian giggles and smiles back. "What time is the flight?" Weston wonders, scanning the airport.

"Six." I tell.

"You really want to leave, aye?" Weston sighs. "I don't see why you're leaving for, there's still plenty more years to go."

"I graduate next year."

"Right." Weston says with a confused facial. He uses his fingers to start counting, occasionally glancing up at the ceiling before nodding at me. "Yeah, now I remember." He laughs. I shake my head and Maggie just glares at Weston. Crystal breaths out and picks up Lillian who starts singing to herself.

After a few hours of waiting, Crystal had left with Maggie and Lillian back home. They didn't even want to see me off, I'm kidding, they didn't want to see me. I'm also joking, they had other things to take care of. Even though Maggie had nothing to take care off but still needed a ride back home.

"I'm going to go, I need to see dad." Weston gives me a huge hug and the apple pie from Macca's. "Have fun, don't forget me, Kay? When you come back to Auckland, visit me first. Also, my phone number in case something happens." He hands me a slip that looks well prepared off. His number is written on it with different numbers; home, his second mobile, work, etc.
